judging from the formal presentation, the Cybertruck seems more appropriate as an emergency response vehicle, rather than non-commercial. considering Tesla's "armor glass" solution, i'm eager to understand their evacuation procedures for when you're unable to open the doors in an emergency. ::throws all vehicle escape tools out the unbreakable window::

thanks for sharing your take on your order! definitely a fascinating investment and it's fun to [try to understand lol] people's reasons to go for it~

Ugly ass truck, it’s a $100 deposit nothing was “ordered” you held a spot so you could order it if you have the money to do so on release.

I’d imagine some people’s first thing to do after getting cybertruck is to smash the window to test how good they actually are.

I lived just across Lake Champlain. It’s more hilly terrain here so my mileage drops significantly. Tesla truck is very tempting. Unfortunately, I’m maxed out to $25-30k for auto purchase. I’ll settle for a used Toyota. Congrats on your purchase and please make a review on this truck someday

Not completely on board with a fully autonomous, self-driving feature.. Tech fails all the time. I trust myself behind the wheel way more than I trust some computer algorithm driving for me. I hope self-driving vehicles do NOT become standard one day.

What's wrong with a range rover? It's a comfortable nice car that can actually off road very nicely, and it seats 6 or 7 easily.

I got denied for a Chase Credit Card. Do you know if it's possible for them to turn it around? Like using direct deposit as a reconsideration?

On order. The good thing about putting order now is it locks in the $7k self driving price. So when it does become activated and price goes up u will still get it for $7k

it looks like a one man operation built this in his garage. However, there isn't a better application for electric motors than trucks that haul heavy loads.

Reply
Wendell Greenidge November 30, 2019 - 10:41 am

Why order a cyber truck??? It’s not even a practical truck, yes it has a high tow capacity but what’s the range when under that high tow load… Electric motors are very high taxing on a battery so I don’t see how these with out perform a gas or Diesel truck

I can say, there are surprising benefits to being able to tow, even if you don’t currently have any use for it. I’ve got a Wrangler (2dr), and I’ve used it to move around the smaller Uhaul trailers (both for me and for friends). The price difference was around 8x between a little trailer and renting a full truck of the same size. Plus, you never know if you’ll wind up with a boat (which is massively expensive to move if you can’t tow yourself).

Lol. Electric trucks are just a gimmick. You won't be able to do any serious towing with it. Electric trucks are bad at towing heavy loads up hill. It takes ages to charge it full vs only a couple of seconds to fill a gas truck.

Hi
How to finance a Tesla?
Is this financing just like other cars or they offer their own financing?

Reply
Al Vela February 22, 2020 - 6:15 am

250,000 x 100 is 25,000,000. So Tesla just raised that much to help them pay the bille
