Welcome to MtM #Vegas – Our weekly look at the cool #news and happenings in Sin City.
This week we recap my stay at #Circa including what I thought about the hotel room and how it compares to the competition. Plus we’ll discuss Legacy Club and how I scored a free cabana at Stadium Swim! It wasn’t quite a trade off I wanted to make.
We also discuss the rapidly increasing Vegas crowds as we head into March Madness and what the casinos are doing to accommodate them. Plus we’ll discuss 22 great sports bars to watch basketball and our very concerned thoughts about the first looks at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Great stuff. I look forward to these videos every week. With Vegas starting to get busy again have you heard anything about the afternoon traffic heading back to So Cal? I always head back early in the a.m to avoid a 8 hour traffic jam back to LA.
Those pictures inside Virgin Hotel are shocking. That's got to be a joke.
Why does mark keep looking off to the side? It drives my boyfriend crazy! Love the podcast tho!
Good the shows are coming back the Virgin 😑thanks for the video stay safe 👍👍👍
Great episode guys! You guys mention and have good things to say about the outdoor bar at Ellis Island a lot, I need to try that place next time i'm in Vegas.
Can you elaborate as to how/why they "charge for the sunset" on the patio at The Legacy Club?
The Circa looks the place to go and especially that pool with the big screens. I love the Peppermill the last time I went , it reminded me of being in Miami vice 😂 Good quality input and look forward to the new vlogs 🇬🇧
Really good info. I remember your earlier vlog driving by the Virgin hotel and liking the exterior. It had a kind of chillaxed Palm Springs vibe. That interior is a bit much. I picture someone getting up in the morning with a hangover and taking a good luck at that carpet.🤢
Cool story about the poor weather while you were at Circa. That turned into a neat sounding local experience with the Knights on at the pool. For those who have never had an impromptu free cabana in Vegas, it really gives you the luxury resort experience. Great story about a simple treat that could only exist here. I also recommend Ellis Island. I just wish their casino was about 5 times larger.
Great channel you guys are great
Virgin's design was almost as nasty as the bedsheets at the El Cortez…I think they missed the design meetings.
Always good information….we live in Henderson and enjoy keeping up on what’s going on in LV.
Another great vid. love you guys. The Mirage is a great old school vibe for March Madness, as well as The Wingate, followed by Caesars. The Stardust was always the best – honorable mention, Bally's.
Shawn- I loved my stay at Encore a couple of years ago, but haven’t stayed at the Wynn tower. How do they compare? I was under the impression that the Encore rooms were nicer.
I love chilling by the Lake of Dreams and watching the show in the evening. Loved my dinner at Mizumi as well.
The March madness is the price of flights and hotels. I had comp rooms (diamond status, thanks founders card) up until about two weeks ago. And like my money in Vegas, the comps disappeared.
Love peppermill and yes the fireside lounge is open
Shawn I 100% agree. Wynn and Wynn encore is the best hotel in Las Vegas. Been saying that since my first stay at Wynn in 2007. I’d say maybe the best hotel in the world. I’ve stayed there many times. Last time was back in September during the pandemic when rooms were $99 a night at encore. So 150$. I flew my dad out for his first trip to Las Vegas in September -booked him his own room at encore and we had dinner at the Peppermill. All good choices! Also layed in bed at encore till like 10:45am till the last Minute. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the way you put these videos together… great information… i can't wait to get back to vegas.. 2 trips cancelled but the vlogs are helping .!! Greetings from the u.k 🇬🇧
Mark is totally right about paying 38 bucks for a Buffet, last time I was in Vegas I had an enormous breakfast at Off The Strip in the Linq Promenade for $16 and it was great. When Buffets were $15-20 they were decent value, not any more.
Can't wait to see your walkthrough video of the Virgin hotel!
Slide a $20 bill under your credit card and ask if there is an available cabana.
Guzman?
I had been seeing the Virgin pictures over the last few months on their social media sites and i hate everything about it. I absolutely loved Hard Rock, the pool, rooms, food choices and gaming. I am still going to check it out but i am not impressed at all.
Circa looks beautiful but like you said Encore Wynn is my #1
WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY HARD ROCK THEY RUINED MY BOY
Hi MtM.
We are currently in lock down and truly miss our showroom in Vegas. Your videos make our loss a little easier.
We are relatively new here and we are considering opening up for interviews with our clients on our YouTube channel.
So our question is which App do you guys use for split screen recording and display?
We love your channel.
Keep up the great work!
Ken & Anette Svanlund
Hey! What’s up!! I missed that at the end thanks guys! Much love
It would be interesting to hear from someone at Virgin exactly what the interior plan was for it to come out looking like it does. It would indeed seem they are going for the "dated tropical" vibe. Maybe it resonates with the brits?
Hi Shawn! So excited that you and your wife enjoyed the Circa and Encore for your anniversary. I would have also done the Diet Coke as I am a Diet Coke fan! You can NEVER go wrong with the Wynn/Encore properties. They put the Customer in Customer Service. Mark; I agree with you; Summer is going to be totally nuts in Vegas. I am going to wait until the Fall of the year. Thanks you two for the great info once again. CAB 😊
Bwaaaahahahah cromwell is not even trying to be NOT claustrophobic lol
Was just there for MM. Absolutely packed on the strip Thursday-Saturday, the energy was great. The big issue is lines…..30+ min wait at Starbucks, elevators are a nightmare, ff lines 20+ mins.
Circa is so impressive in many ways. Stadium swim is amazing and their Sportsbook is incredible too. Thanks for the great footage and information.
Yes, Mark, to Miami Beach over the weekend, but most arrests were age 25 + and most were other States and non locals. Now, curfew kicks in Thursday and weekend. And, here, Fort Lauderdale (Broward County) none of that. No alcohol allowed at the beach during spring break.
Brunch buffets are more marketable than dinner. Not necessarily here in Vegas, but around the country where buffets aren't as prevalent, restaurants that offer brunch buffets do very well. Disney parks have always offered brunch buffets for character meet and greets. The Flamingo was already only operating their buffet for brunch, long before covid. This could easily be the future of buffets given the competition from so many high end restaurants in town. People wanting to go to Gordon Ramsay's for dinner might still grab breakfast at a buffet.
What’s staffing like on strip properties was in town for first week of nfl playoffs and unfortunately not good
How can Vegas survive this up and down in economy?
I was on the strip yesterday, Monday. It was very busy! Good to see all the families and others! Lets go! Vegas Rising! 🙂
