My favorite card, it’s so broken ! . It’s the One punch man of credit cards!

Great content as always Ben. Wondering if you or anyone have been able to use the $100 on property credit for the Conrad/Waldorf for a min 2 night stay. Ive tried twice the past year and the dedicated site that they have does not work and I called the Hilton Honors number and they weren't able to book it on their end. They even called the property directly and they weren't able to book it either using that dedicated code.

How much $ does Hilton make by charging venders? That required spend = major profit to amex + annual fee + jacked resort prices at Hilton resorts.

Hilton wins when customers forget benefits (or find out how hard it is to activate them).

Given how much they earn per hour, does the time invested truly pay off?

Can resort credit be used just at a restaurant or do you need to be a guest?

Best value is in Asia. Japan especially. Executive lounge is amazing. They upgraded the room and 5th night free. Saved thousands

I have the aspire I get a lot of use of it. Thinking about pairing it with the Hilton business, get that $15k spend and get two nights free 🙂

Love my Aspire card! In the first year I used the free weekend night for a night that is worth $800! Got 130k points that we later used in Hawaii for 1.2cpp. Used the $250 resort credit Hawaii. And used the $200 airline credit there and back! So I total (not including points we used) we got $1250 back for that $450 AF. And the AF is about to hit for next year. And we I’ll definitely be keeping it!

Called Amex. You don't get weekend night right the way. They word it that way but it's no go

If I go to Vegas and stay at an MGM property or something and NOT Hilton but then go over to a Hilton resort and eat dinner, will that count toward the resort credit even if I’m not staying there?

The value this card packs is honestly pretty insane. That free night credit alone is so powerful!! Great video Ben.

Seems like a good card if you only stay at Hilton properties. But the moment those properties cost 50% more than the neighborhood you wont be using this thing.

Can you do the book with points 4 night to get the 5th free and also tack on the annual free night stay? Making it 6 nights

Hilton is my favorite among the big hotel chains, and this card is part of the reason why. With the amount I travel, I love my aspire and don’t think I’ll be getting rid of it anytime soon. Nice Video, Ben! 👍🏻

Two points: One I have never found TPGs value estimates to be low. Two: the constant use of the word value in the video. The price of the room in Los Cabos may be over 1k, but the value is what you would have been willing to pay cash to stay there. The example exposes one of the problems… would you fly to Cabo for 1 night??? Really?? I think the card has a lot of value without resorting to such gimmicky examples. If someone gets $300 on a regular 1 night stay that they would have paid for the rest of the card is an easy sell.

The $100 property credit booking system is problematic as I've never had it work property using the website. When I called Hilton to book I realized that in order to get a rate which qualifies for the $100 credit, you need to pay the regular rack rate. Many times there will be promos with lower rates that won't qualify for this credit. Thus you will likely be paying more in total hotel rate over your stay in order to get this credit than the credit is worth….

Have you considered switching to Hyatt? I find their loyalty program to be far superior to Hilton both when it comes to redeeming points as well as the benefits you get as a Globalist member. Hilton in the US has gone downhill sadly, and it's quite difficult to ever achieve more than 0,5 cents in value when redeeming points.

Using Diamond status in Hilton properties in Asia (especially southeast Asia) is amazing. When I was in India even though I had Gold status for some reason the property upgraded me to an Executive Suite that was meant only for Diamond status holders, and I was blown away.

Do you know how many times and how often I can product change a card? For example, say I want to transfer my points to Hyatt with the Sapphire Preferred but I don’t want to pay the annual fee every year since I only have enough points to take a vacation every other year. Can I keep product changing between the Sapphire preferred and Freedom Flex every year or would that not be allowed. I am just curious if you know because I wasn’t able to find anything online about it.

I have a question. I plan on being an Uber eats/doordash driver while in college so I will apply for a business credit card. After college, I probably won’t be doing deliveries anymore. Do I get to keep the business card or will it get closed?
