I’m out of the game.
The problem is though out chase and if you are 5/24 you screw
I wouldn't apply for this card since I already have the CSP. They gave us the free first year of DashPass back in like 2020? Then Chase and DoorDash extended it for a couple more years (i think another 4) for free. The CSP already gives me 3x on dining, so its not worth applying for this card for the extra 1%. But for a no AF card, it's good for the people who like cash back, and order a lot of food 🙂
Ben, did you delete this same video from earlier today along with all of the comments?
I was about to rage comment if you didn't mention the USB Altitude Go card… that's a daily driver for me.
I think there are for sure better cards for dining out there
is it metal?
Ordering Door Dash or Uber Eats for pickup is a big waste of money. You are paying inflated prices when you could just order directly with the restaurant and avoid the higher prices.
With the chase sapphire you get the dash peas for free
nobody cares about this card!
Decent card but DoorDash delivers your food cold & hit you with so many unnecessary fees. UberEats is way better & I actually paid CASH for the whole year back in 2021 before I got my hands on the Gold Card. Now I get it for free with my Savor, great combo since I have both the Gold for the credit & Savor for the 10% Cash Back. Can’t beat that even though I prefer points!
This card is terrible
No.
This card is for the urbanite who has no plans to travel and does NOT cook at home and hooks everyone up with DoorDash at the office. Oh god, it’s Jr HedgeBro’s card.
It has its niche, but probably not a major driver for any one North of Canal and outside LA/SF
SavorOne might be better with 10x uber expenses including uber eats, and also complementary uber one pass till ~end of 2024; also has 3x on groceries, restaurants and entertainment, and no foreign txn fee and no annual fee
I'll pass on this card ✌️
I'm not in favor of approvals via Chase at the moment my busyness with other bank relationships have scraped a approval. I will take any of my 15+ approvals post Chase denial anyday over a Chase approval! ✊️
Ben's annual spend of 7626$ on dining averages out to almost 21$ a day for the year.
after getting 5% back in credits, it's still cheaper to order pickup from the restaurant directly
Waste of credit card pull
D Barrett has so much credit.
Right now I use the united airlines explorer card the best buy card the city rewards plus card and the m life las vegas card from the bank of Omaha.
In reading over the terms, I see the usual "cash back as points" verbage. Wondering if this actually earns UR points.
"Cash Back and Points: "Cash Back rewards" are the rewards you earn under the program. Cash Back rewards are tracked as points and each $1 in Cash Back rewards earned is equal to 100 points. You may simply see "Cash Back" in marketing materials when referring to the rewards you earn. You may also see, "points" when referring to the points you can use."
Give me the SavorOne all day!! 10% cash back on Uber and UberEats. You can turn that into capitalOne miles if you want. Free UberOne for 2 years (9.99/month)
So how would it work when it comes to tipping the dasher?

I'll take my Amex Gold all day! I'm personally fine with using my Gold card's GrubHub and UberEats credits in comparison to DoorDash… maybe that's just me! Still cool to see a new card on the market, but this one isn't for me.
I've never used DoorDash. I'd much rather use a 5% rotating card for dining which, between Disco/Freedom/nusenda, has all or most of the year covered at 5%, 3% Savor or AOD if not.
This is not better than the savor one. Same cash back amount with no fee plus additional categories namely entertainment at a high rate without locking you to DoorDash to get benefits (which only lasts basically a year anyway and then it’s gone and you’re left with a diet savor one card)
