Come join us for a full #tour of #Luxor on the #Las #Vegas #Strip! This was filmed in August 2020! Recently there have been rumors about the possible closure and #demolition of this property!
While I don’t necessarily think the rumors are 100% true, this hotel does struggle so I thought it was worth touring to show you why it’s a true icon. From an iconic building to incredible theming, Luxor might just surprise you! I know by the end you’ll have seen something at Luxor that you’ve never seen before! Also stick around for the section in the hotel stairs! As you might expect they can’t go straight up and down, but you’ll have to watch to find out how cool that area is! And yes we’ll ride the sideways elevators too!

It’s heart breaking to see the hardships this fun enjoyable place is going through we stayed here and I enjoyed it .The many job losses is so sad .I prey for Vegas and it’s future 🥰🇨🇦🌹until we meet agin
Did you fart?
The radical left and globalist elites are running out this con job Plandemic for political reasons.. strangling businesses. This won’t end well.💵🗳💵🗳💵💵🐀🐁🐁🐁🐁🐁
Note: hand sanitizer kills 99.9% of germs. That does not include Convid19 virus.
“See the elevator moving sideways?” No. No we don’t.
Did they still have the tut treasure room?
I agree with you, the Luxor is one of the few LV properties where the allure of seeing/touching its (still impressive) structural engineering is a driving force for visitation. Your view up the side really was impressive and reminds me of what I always did when I lived in New York in the 80s, which was to pause at the corner of the World Trade Center tower where it met the sidewalk. . . and look up. They say that tags you as "a tourist" but that was nonsense: I never ever tired of that view. Glad I found your channel. I am enjoying these tours. Thank you!
Man I'm 24 and I've stayed at luxor at least 4 times 2 times in pyramid and 2 times in towers just loved luxor always felt unique and one of a kind hotel not to flashy or expensive just awesome
Gorgeous property! Great video. Thanks!
It shouldn’t be torn down, but modernized. This new fancy high end theme they do makes literally all hotels the exact same. Luxor is too unique and famous in Vegas to follow that boring trend
Mandalay Bay, killer hotel
I love the Luxor. My very 1st trip to Vegas was in 1992. My friends and I stayed at a run down hotel called “the hacienda”, right next door to the Luxor that was almost completed. While we were there they were painting the sphinxs famous headdress. Little did I know that the hacienda was about to be torn down and be replaced by Mandalay Bay.. Great memories.

Around 2.27 didn't the old poker room used to be near there? Around 12 years ago?
Thanks for the tour! It has been 14 years since I was last there, but my brother and I stayed in Las Vegas for eight nights, and we walked everywhere, except downtown. The Luxor is a unique property, in fact, it is a landmark. I worked for a large steel fabricator, and although we did not do this building, I can really appreciate the design of the building. Thank you for taking a trip into the stairwell. The pyramid design was no doubt expensive to build, and for that reason, I am sure it won't be torn down unless it has major structural problems (which would be highly unlikely). Whenever I see unique designs, I cannot help but think about the people that actually built this hotel and casino. I admire them 110% !!
By the way, the 'back lobby' looks very familiar to me with its low ceiling. Was the wedding chapel just up the escalators from this lobby?
Another awesome ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐video, Shawn!
I personally appreciate you taking us into that building and making us feel like we are physically there. Thanks.
Having been there when it first opened, I miss the original attractions. I do hope it isn’t torn down – but time goes on and things change. Maybe they should bring the original back to change it up. I remember how scared I was when first seeing the spider window washing machine as it glided across the window!!
Wow!😳 those stairways look more like a construction site!
Stayed there up to and including New Year's Eve 2005, so saw the fireworks..and got engaged!
Luxor is definitely an icon but 90’s era resorts seem to be headed toward extinction. Perhaps it could be repurposed as an amusement & attractions facility.
Why does the stairwell look so undeveloped?
10:40 close
10:48 sideways
11:06 open
The fact Aaliyah – Rock The Boat in the background. 🖤❤️🙌🏾
I love driving from Cali to Vegas at dusk. The light from the Luxor shining in the distance. Just gets you pumped
I love your love for Vegas!
Great walkthrough! I’ll be staying there this weekend for the first time. Never been to Vegas so I’m super excited 😆
I was just watching the video of them building this incredible casino so to hear you say it could be torn down was jarring to say the least.
A lot of people don't believe me when I tell them Luxor and a boat tour and amusements. It was back when Vegas was trying to appeal to families for some reason. If I remember correctly NYNY was just starting when we were there. Also, there were no walk overs to get to casinos. Nothing like having a few hundred people crossing the street in both directions trying not to get run over by honking taxis.
Thanks for the tour of the Luxor. I've been there many times but have never seen some of the areas you walked through. The atrium reminds me of the Contemporary Resort Hotel in Disney World.
I love all the gauldiness of Vegas. I enjoyed the luxor on my 1st visit there and as I walked thru the others the themes were amazing. The new ones look like hi-tech sports bars and I'm not into sports or gambling but I do like to see all the decor so bring that back please.
Nice Job!! The walk through the stair well was way cool!..now my story..I Love The Luxor!! It's My Home In Vegas. I've been a guest there since '94..and it was really something to experience in the 90s..she was a 5 star resort..my last visit to Vegas was Aug 2019..and I can't wait to return..And Yes..she a little run down and showing her age..but I love it..it holds a special place in my heart. There's been a lot of changes..some Good and some Bad..it's gone through 3 or 4 remodels..but it's not going to be torn down any time soon. Thanks For The Tour.
26 more days i'll see you Luxor .
It should have been torn down long ago. It's always been a piece of junk. Such a terrible design. Such a terrible location. It's always look like stupid, cheap kitsch.
You didn't even mention or show the Esports Arena which is the most important and well known part of that giant craphole. It's about the only reason anyone under 50 goes there.
It's sad how they've un-Egyptianed the place! The Sphinx, a few statues and the shape alone are the only things that connect it to the name. The Egyptian-heavy theme was so cool in 2003 when I went for my honeymoon.
What did you use. Film
It's cool looking above but kind of whacky in modern times
We have office buildings w/pyramid shapes.
not the best place
