Las Vegas Construction Mega Tour – Updates & Exciting New Projects for 2021 & Beyond! – Miles to Memories Vegas

by YouTube Team

It has been quite a year for Las #Vegas, but all of the negatives haven’t kept Sin City from moving forward. Before the pandemic hit Las Vegas had several high profile #construction projects on deck and many of them are moving forward. As we move into 2021 I thought I would update you on the latest hot new projects coming to Las Vegas in 2021 and beyond.

There are so many exciting new construction projects coming to Las Vegas!

0:00 – Welcome to Las Vegas
0:10 – Resorts World Las Vegas at Night
1:55 – Resorts World Scale Model & Daytime Views
3:41 – The Drew (Former Fontainebleau)
4:56 – Henderson Lifeguard Arena (Golden Knights)
6:43 – Henderson Events Center Arena (Silver Knights)
7:51 – Sahara’s New Restaurant Row
8:23 – Las Vegas Gateway Arch
11:31 – Circa’s New Hotel Entrance & Vegas Vicky Moving Her Legs
12:25 – Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall Expansion
13:45 – MSG Sphere/Death Star
15:50 – Caesars Forum
17:07 – Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

In this video:

Resorts World Las Vegas – Massive new Strip resort with 3,500 rooms spread across three Hilton branded hotels.

The Drew (Old Fontainebleau) – Abandoned for over a decade this project was recently revived, but is anything actually changing?

Sahara Restaurant Row – As part of their $150 million in renovations Sahara is converting their Strip frontage into four new eateries and a new sports book.

Las Vegas Gateway Arch – The brand new $6.5 million icon to welcome guests to Las Vegas is now open. It stretches 140 feet across Las Vegas Boulevard and is not to be missed.

Circa Resort & Casino Hotel – While the casino has been open (check out our full #tour), the hotel is actually opening this week. We’ll check out the new main entrance which is a throw back for sure.

Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall – This massive expansion adds over 600K square feet of new exhibit space but the real talk is the Tesla Tunnels running underground. (These might be expanded considerably.) This expansion is almost done, but sits waiting for guests to return.

MSG Sphere Las Vegas – Part state of the art concert hall and part money pit, this project is moving forward at a slower pace now. The massive sphere will house 17,500 seats, be covered entirely in screens on the outside and it is starting to look a bit like the Death Star.

Caesars Forum – Caesars Entertainment spend almost $400 million on this new convention center which is attached to Linq Promenade. It also sits next to the monorail and houses one of the more unique event spaces in the entire city.

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas – Originally scheduled to open on January 15, the re-branded Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is delayed until the Spring due to market conditions. With 11 new restaurants, totally renovated rooms and an entirely new entrance this Hilton Curio hotel will make waves when it opens.

Does anyone really want to go to large crowd areas after all the deaths of covid 19??? yes, big crowds….lots of targets… scares the hell out of me… they look so ugly and unapealing…. then there are the "resort fee's", open your wallet…gonna be another ghost town….crazyness…

So instead of assisting your fellow man you schmucks decided to spend the money on serving yourselves and the elite …the only reason God and the EBEs didn't allow me to turn you all into pillars of salt was because he said to give you another chance and as he promised this time it won't be a flood …covid….😉

So glad to see all of this money going to new projects and neon lights! Forget education and helping those homeless souls on LV Boulevard. Way to go Amurica. Just storm the Capitol next time.

Awesome! Work is about to begin at the new “Dream” resort, the “Magestic” resort as well the massive Bleutech Park. Really cool projects. May also get another Arena at the north strip for the NBA (and a possible MLB stadium next to mandalay bay)

Why is anyone building a resort or an event center when the city is shut down indefinitely?

Great video. I enjoy the nice slow paced long looks at these new constructions. It gives you a moment to ponder it. What you like and what you don't. I can see a number of things that are new since my last visit.
