July 2022 Las #Vegas visitor numbers are in and they show some interesting trends that impress in some ways and disappoint in others. What will the Fall look like for Vegas and will the increased spending come to an end?
In other #news Las Vegas was voted as one of the rudest cities in America. Is it true? No one cracks Mark up like Mark 😄😄
Mark, with those MGM comps, is the resort fee waved?
Great video!
LOL. Orleans casino is on Tropicana and full of working girls!! Specially during those really hot summer days
I do watch movies there regularly besides Palace Station and Red Rock cinemas. I do avoid the crowds at Town Square theaters
I was just went to Houston. Very friendly people
Yes traffic can be bad here as well as the roads and drivers manners
Chris Angel retirement tour!!! LOL 😂
Speaking of the Orleans…what ever happened to the Gold Coast Casino which was a sister property?
Vegas is now the cost of a Hawaiian or European vacation. Glad they are still making $$$ on all the rate hikes and nickel and dime-ing, but it's now a pass for us.
I'm from Michigan and live in LV. Michigan people are very unfriendly. Outsiders are rarely accepted into the friend circle.
LV is typical of transplant town; people are very standoff-ish. If you don't act like a drunk, you'll meet some friendly folks. The strip is not the same as the rest of the county.
We just stayed recently at the Orleans. The rooms were a bit dated but clean & comfortable…pool is beautiful…lots of dining options & the one place that has more than a few of my fav slots! Enjoyed it there…
As a New Yorker, I got your rude right here!! Lol. Shocked NYC wasn't #1.
I've been to Vegas over 50 times. The only person who was ever rude to me was a female security guard at The Plaza. I don't know what her deal was but she was rude to several people in the casino that night.
There are owners at MGM signature that are renting the rooms for $5000.00 a night for F1… I cannot wait to see what sort of "deals" the resorts will have.
I intend on staying at Red Rock or The Durango during that week I can imagine the room rates doubling over even higher along the tourist corridor.
Thanx for the updates. I too believe that the people of Vegas are very rude. Odd beings that their main income is tourists. you'd think they'd be nicer. Stay safe.
Granted its been a decade plus since Ive been there, but is the Orleans still extremely smoky?
Are MAGA FASCIST still allowed in Lost Vegas
Chicken. Vegas. = OGYardbird4Life
There’s actually a Wahlburgers in front of Bally’s or at least there was. Never eaten there, but we have one in a grocery store, and they are like Smashburgers, except more expensive.
As far as rude cities, Memphis kind of surprises me, because I’ve always found most places very friendly. That said the tourist area of Beale Street is very rude and if you don’t venture far from there, you’ll think the city is rude
Wasn't there a Wahlburger's outside at Bally's? I am generally irritatingly upbeat and rude folks are usually a game for me. In my last two visits to LV, I felt the people were fine, some over worked for sure, not really rude (But I tip everyone). The issue was understaffing and process changes by the big 2 (MGM and Caesar's). In the 15 days of those two trips, I never felt important to the staff – not in the cabanas, not at the restaurants and not even on the casino floor. They were never rude, just not caring. Will give it a rest until next year but I hope things balance out and the "feeling" returns back on the Strip and Freemont soon. My inner circle of friends is squawking that our 2 CT Resorts and 2 in MA are nice enough that we do not need to fly for 5.5 hours and then be treated like normal people, we can get that right here in Connecticut. Our comps are getting better locally and the resorts here do have great places to eat and they bring in great entertainment. Great content as always. Thanks for all the hard work.
Skip the smashed potatoes but Big Martha’s Pierogis are phenomenal
I feel like the type of people that are in the video game cabana ad would never pay to rent a video game cabana. Thanks for the video guys.
Maybe Mark Wahlberg can be Criss Angel’s new neighbor
Thanks for my weekly Vegas info. Orleans has always been a favorite for us. I do appreciate table side service for some items but a baked potato being hand smashed No. I think that's ridiculous.
We ran into nothing but friendly staff in Vegas on a couple of trips this past year. Treat people like you want others to treat you — be sincere and respectful and do not treat anyone as 'less than'.
I have been live in Vegas for 7 years. I will never understand? Why most of local drivers don’t signal, when they turn. So bad.
Would like to know, off strip places to eat without being ripped off, please.
You guys don’t even live in Vegas and I doubt you guys has ever even worked in a Vegas casino.
Think Wild Wild West is gonna get demolished
Good job boyz! Great video.
Agree with Mark, I don't want someone "fingering my smash " either. Gaming in cabanas might be an incentive for them to sell more, if free or not too costly. The picture of the girls interested in the guys gaming was hilarious. Do not think a girlfriend would be too happy watching her boyfriend game on vacation, they probably get enough of it at home. Good work fellas!!
I go to the stripclub if i want my mash fingered
People are becoming more rude every year. It’s sad.
We were in Vegas last October and had a great time. We ate at local restaurants and not at any famous chefs restaurant. My personal opinion is the strip restaurants are way too expensive. Thanks for the update, enjoy your show!
Thankfully that has not been our experience in the years that we have visited Vegas. Vegas people are always nice as well as tourists. My husband is very friendly and chatty and he almost always gets a positive response.
I used to really like going to the Orleans and Rio casinos. Yes they’re both a little outdated but with some TLC could be great again. I am very upset that both buffets are closed. These were my favorite two in the city.
Love your videos! I live in Northern CA and cannot wait to tune in every week for Vegas updates. Thank you!
I never had a problem with rude people, even on the Strip or Downtown. One of the best conversations I have ever had, with the friendliest people, was at a Cigar place out in Henderson. However, I go out of my way to go local and like to stop into places like that.
Condos start at 14.5 million at the summit club.
Security drives a Porsche
Golf is $600+ 200 caddy tip.
Mark Davis livers there
Few mlb players too
I think mgm has a 10,000 F1 package. Room for 3 nights and 2 tickets
Consumers control the prices… Supply and Demand will always be undefeated… dont order the potato smashed and it will drop to free eventually for example
Oh man…….poor Criss Angel….

$90.00 for basically a Costco rotisserie chicken?
Hi Shawn and Mark; great information as always. It has been years since I last stayed at the Orleans and went to the movies to see Contagion! That had to be 2011 or 2012. Anyway, the rooms were retro but clean and oversized. Shawn, I can't believe you don't know about the Wahlberg burger joints! There has been one at the outdoor shopping (that Mark loves so much), outside of the Ballys Hotel. I wonder is it still open? Have a great weekend you two! CAB 😊
Looks like Snoop Dawg smashing potatoes for Martha.
