Episode Description
This week brought a lot of news including the official changeover of Bally’s to #Horseshoe Las #Vegas. We also learned the exact date that Hard Rock will takeover the Mirage from MGM Resorts. Hint: It’s in just a few days, but construction won’t begin for awhile.
In other #news, the old site of the Fiesta Henderson was bought by the city in order to turn it into a public sports facility. The city also swapped land with Station Casinos as they announced their brand new high-end resort Inspirada Station in West Henderson. Yes, another big Vegas casino project is coming!

Bruno Mars concert when he made his first debut (24k concert) $250 nose bleed seats!
I thought Chris Angel would have filled in for Mark
Surprised and sort of proud to find Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg Sweden, as number 5 on the stadium list.
Happy Friday men!🎉
I went to Primm for a work conference. I think it was around 2006. I don't think I'll ever go back it was unremarkable back then. Kinda like Laughlin light? Have a great weekend!
"Food Hall" is an updated term for "Food Court".
Well, except they charge more.
Awesome it's just you today Shawn👍👍
Love this week's video. My trip this last week I tried out Fat Choy at Eureka Casino and it was really amazing. It's like a Chinese-American diner and it was awesome and cheap. I also checked out Hard Hat Lounge and hat their deep dish Detroit-style pizza. It was so good, but too much for one person. Hit me up if you ever need a replacement co-host. I can be snarky in reaction to your optimism and have been told I have a good radio voice.
Those donuts looks super yummy, will have to try that place when I'm back in Vegas. Glad to see that concert venues in Vegas are doing well. Especially at Resorts World. I don't get the hate of that place, I see some YouTubers have this glee of hoping to see the place fail. They're a new resort and still trying to find their way. Unless the place is doing something evil, I don't want any hotel to go out of business. Tons of people will lose their jobs if they closed down place.
no mark today? he has one job… shouldve had criss angel fill in as co-host..
Was closed for "covid hysteria" not really for "covid"
Nice vibe today without the wise cracks
Sadly, Buffalo Bill's to me is one of the best resorts in Southern Nevada, maybe top 10 because of its theming and rides. The problem is that Buffalo Bill's so far away from the other great resorts. Vegas is slowly turning into a tourist town with resorts that are all looking the same, just slight variations of steel, concrete and glass. Hard Rock's guitar tower is one exception to this depressing trend.
$75.00
How can all this growth be happening in a down economy and high interest rates? I live in Phoenix and have been going to Vegas since 1990 and I have never seen so many homeless camps. What’s wrong with this picture?
I’ve been looking to move to the west/northwest side, but Henderson seems to have a lot of great amenities.
I think Horseshoe should be good as long they have great hotel room prices and better yet if they would drop resort fees. I guess that is a dream.
Thanks for the great video and information.
Awwwwwwww, sorry to see Mark out today! I'm having intense Insert Criss Angel Joke Here Withdrawals today! 🥲
In all earnestness, though, you both are great and I'm not surprised by the gross revenue statistics. I genuinely feel all the rigmarole about Resorts World "struggling" and being "doomed" is wildly hyperbolic and those stats just further reflect how they have already successfully established themself as a versatile, established institution for live entertainment and nightlife. I guess I was a little surprised seeing Park MGM appear in the top venues but not Planet Hollywood or MGM Grand, but Park MGM definitely have well-earned bragging rights being the recent home of both Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. 🙂
Terrific update on Vegas as always.. Makes you wonder if the powers of be know more than us when it comes to The Economy
I drove through Primm throughout the years but never stopped at the casino. It's just not worth it. They all look dated and worn out.
Ballys changing to Horseshoe is just lipstick on a 🐖 I mean just look at the carpet they installed. It's not even installed correctly! 😂😂 It doesn't match up at all. They should've just torn it down.
Garth Brooks next May opening weekend. Two tix were over 900 in the cheap seats 😳
There was only one "Horseshoe." I used to go to Bally's a lot, never again.
The only times I go to Buffalo Bills, is when I go to buy CA lottery tickets, at the state line Lotto Store.
100% better show without all of the sarcastic negative comments, I recommend you stay solo
Hey there sean, I enjoyed your video very much! And you mentioned the wildfire hotel and casino coming in to downtown is it going to be on Fremont Street or where please let me know thank you so much
I thought Chris Angel would have joined you to fill in.
Maybe they Henderson can use the land for for the Vegas vipers for the xfl
Will insprada have a bingo hall too?
The Cromwell (worst name ever), should buy the naming rights to "The Mirage".
If it's the same Gabi as the one in china town in Vegas it's awesome. Looks like it's definitely the same Korean ube type foods. So good
Something nobody has covered, at least not that I have seen… "The Lucky Dragon" on Sahara has been re branded and is taking reservations under the name Ahern.
Really interesting location, the last place lasted maybe 6 months? (don't quote me)
Very refreshing to see a straightforward episode without Mark's snarky, negative, and juvenile comments! This is what the show should always look like! Keep it up!
Where’s Mark ? in line for Criss Angel tickets
At 9:22. The Henderson Fiesta Casino is right across the freeway from the location of one of the biggest non-nuclear explosions in the world.
In 1988 the Pepcon rocket fuel plant exploded, sending a massive shock wavy thru the area. In 1988 few people lived in this area. Today it is in the middle of the Las Vegas sprawl.
If the explosion had happened 5 years ago, the Fiesta Henderson and everyone inside would have been wiped off the face of the earth.
For video of the explosion see YouTube for 'the Las Vegas rocket fuel explosion'. Lots of video sites show this.
Back in 1988 the freeways didn't exist in this area. The whole area was barren desert.
With all of these new casinos being developed, I wish one of them would be non-smoking. Park MGM, the only non-smoking casino in Las Vegas, seems to be doing okay. I thought Caesar's might emulate MGM and designate one of their casinos as non-smoking, but that hasn't happened.
