You guys are scaring me. Iβll be checking into the Mirage this coming Sunday and I hope we donβt have any housekeeping issues there.
Wynn is the cleanest!! Always stay there!
Bethany is cool.
How is the Uber / Lyft situation in Vegas now?
Delano did have great house keeping for the whole week earlier this month.
I went to Fremont street last weekend & couldnβt believe we got charged $25 to park at the California on a Friday night for a few hours. Iβm done visiting downtown on my Vegas trips now.
That's a bummer about Aria, I've stayed there twice this past year and thought the rooms were fine but then again I probably wouldn't stay there if I didn't have comp nights
Itβs management at Aria, not across all of the MGM properties. I stayed at Bellagio, and my room was very clean at check-in, and housekeeping did a great daily cleaning. I visited Park MGM and NY-NY, and those were clean as well.
Aria management needs to be notified repeatedly about these problems, donβt check out and then trash them online without giving them a chance at service recovery. A manager should have been called to resolve your problems.
The properties I visited that were filthy were all Caesars properties. Smelly, filthy, with filled ashtrays all over.
My memories of Las Vegas go back longer than you guys have been alive so that's where I'm coming from. Also, from 1996 thru 2006 I was Director of HOA's for a national home builder and stayed in Vegas every week. I always stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and had that wired. Have not been in Vegas since the pandemic started. I could see back then that the 'corporate' model was destroying everything that made Las Vegas a great place to be. Conditions you describe today confirm it is now a place made to extract the most money from visitors while providing the least courtesy and value possible. Also, they are not even providing the basics such as a clean room. I'll only visit on business when I must and will spend my vacation dollars elsewhere.
Cromwell did away with the coffee makers.
I heard Aria rooms are in the Process of being remodeled they just finished remodeling all skies suits and The main tower is up nextβ¦β¦
Peppermill Reno is nice we love it but the immediate surroundings are ghetto with seedy people lingering about.
100% agree with Bethany, the Identity program was so rewarding compared to Mlife. I'm don't really gamble and being able to rack up serious points at Block 16, Chandelier bar, or even shopping is a huge benefit. The balcony rooms drew me into cosmo, but the identity rewards kept me coming back.
This is a great podcast.
