IHG was amazing when the unrestricted free night was available, but now their program is lackluster. I think they need a brand revamp.There are so many different brands under IHG now, so they now need to communicate their brands effectively.
Those new cards are hideous. Ill probably cancel my platinum after this first year and stick with gold.

Already requested the Wiley card. He is one of the preeminent Black artists in America. He painted Obama’s presidential portrait and recently did a sculpture called “Rumors of War,” a direct response to the Confederate statues. It features a young Black man with locs atop a horse much like the Confederate monuments. It’s now at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Va. after having debuted in Times Square in NYC.
Bring the design to Canada!!

The first design is so boring the second floral one is ok but it's more geared toward women. They could've chosen more designs..

I got the Wiley design and didn’t have to answer a bunch of questions. It took me like 5 secs and I’m not even exaggerating.

I went with Wiley. I figure, worst case scenario I replace it if I hate it. I like the unique design. I don’t know why people are bitching about it…it’s not required. Just don’t get it if you don’t like it. We all know the card needs improvement but this is just a design.

I’m more concerned with trying to get a retention offer to keep my Schwab Platinum (anniversary is March of this year) but if they don’t budge I’ll just cancel and get the vanilla Platinum since I’ve never had it before and I can always use an extra 100k points and I’d definitely go with the flower design purely to flex😂
