Looks really nice. Wish I had the sapphire reserve but I’m way over 5/24
Awesome, I fly through AUS all the time and the Amex platinum only has the delta sky club but you have to fly delta to use it. Happy for another option even if it caters toward delta flyers, at least it’s not required.
Great demographic in Austin for Chase to target. Millennials and Gen Z in Tech $100k+ annual income.
Team Cash Back news: Walmart point of sale let me cash in 1250 Thank You points, for $10 off my receipt total. Sweet!
Will the JP Morgan Ritz card get you in?
Freakin eff, I'm 2 years from downgrading my CSP to an unlimited to apply for the CSR. I live in Austin and have been considering getting the Delta Reserve since we only have airline lounges until now. I also got the Venture X 4 weeks ago so if Capitol One could get a lounge here that would be great, not holding my breathe though.
Even the outdoor lounge is bigger in texas
Might get me to keep my Sapphire Reserve vs. dropping it for an Amex Platinum.
I'm underwhelmed… leaning towards thinking "Chase is cheap"🤨
Austin is my home airport and happy we finally got something but I primarily fly American, which is on the other side of the terminal and it would be unlikely I’ll get to check it out.. ironically enough I had planned to product change the reserve next month to a non-annual card because I can no longer justify the high cost of it annually.
Cool, so 6 weeks of the year this lounge will be a great place to visit. 😂 Here in Texas we don’t have a ton of nice outdoor weather.
Haha this is crazy I just was there without knowing it was brand new. I walked right past it because A) I don’t have CSR B) it was raining and completely unusable and C) the Delta SkyClub is literally right next to it and was fantastic (and air conditioned). Nice move Chase, but it falls a little short of effective
Hmmmm Austin??? 80% outside. Cold for 4 months ant hot as blazes for 3 months.
Missed this by 2 weeks
Awesome, never been to Austin in my entire life.
I live in Austin, finally a lounge that I don't have to pay for
The reserve cost is not worth it at all. This card should be $250 at most considering the benefits are mediocre at best
Awesome video.
At least it faces east instead of west or south. Don't know about anyone else but I personally don't want to get on a plane with people that just spent some time outside in this area of Texas any time between April and October when the temperature is very likely going to be well over 100F with a matching humidity level. Austin is my home airport and it needs some lounges but not an outside lounge in this climate. I'll be flying out of there mid-April and might check it out, or just stick to my original idea of hitting the United lounge.
The AUS Delta lounge is the nicest I have been to. I understand the United lounge is nothing to write home about, but that seems normal for all non-Polaris United lounges.
Anyone have any recommendations for lounges at IAD? Flying Lufthansa Business to Frankfurt and looks like I have several options but no idea which are the best. Lufthansa? Turkish? Any pointers would be appreciated.
I'm out of the market and out of the game.
Why doesn't anyone believe me when I say I'm out of the game?
I just want to say my brother just got a 100k offer for the Chase Sapphire Preferred in the mail. He has to spend 4K in 3 months for the 100k points.
I guess it's time to finally visit Austin.
We have the chase sapphire reserve and will be flying United to Austin. Is is open now? Is it accessible to those flying United?
If I have the chase sapphire reserve, how many people can I get in the lounge with me? Can I bring my wife and two kids or is it just the cardholder only?
