Awesome breakdown. Definitely will have to watch more than once.
A travel card giving flight certificates? Very interesting! Love to see something new.
We'll see if it's worth it, or if they should've stuck to just giving points. Being able to give certs to others seems like a huge perk to this system! Thanks Sebby!
unless you travel to and from Canada enough, this card is not of much value correct?
My CSP is jealous a cobranded $95 AF card has a Global Entry/Precheck credit 😆
Can I use the points through The chase portal or have to use them through aeroplan?
Back to watch this for a 3rd time 😁👊 Crazy cool how this card could be a way to cash out Aeroplan miles from other programs that have Air Canada as a transfer partner 😮 ✈️💵 All benefits considered, this may be one of the best airline credit cards ever launched.
I have to watch this again but I am so confused. I don’t understand things. Is there a tutorial video to understand this stuff?
Pretty cool if this card effectively gives a cash out floor of 1.25 for Chase UR and Amex MR
The fact that you can use PYB with travel costs here is interesting. So if you have the CSP, could you transfer points here and then use these points at 1.25 cpp? I hadn't thought about the MR to Aeroplan…I'll need to keep an eye out for this card.
This is definitely a game changer for airline cards.
Great video, I try this thank u ♥♥ ♥♥ 7:26
Very cool
Air Canada and Aeroplan really hitting home runs with their program revamp + new US card!
I live in Europe and use our ultra low cost carriers (Ryanair, Wizzair, etc) so I mostly write off airline cards and focus on hotel cards instead, but this one seems so interesting that I'll need to dig into whether or not I could use the benefits in a smart way. Thank you so much for a thorough review!
The pay yourself back feature is cool- though limited to 50000 points. For me not worth it paying another annual fee and fumbling around with another points currency when I only travel 3-4x per year
I have 510k Aeroplan points. If I get this card, and Venture X, I will have effectively 710K aeroplan points. Too bad I can’t spend $14k in time lol.
I really didn't want to want this card, I am at 4/24 and need to concentrate on some business cards. I just hope the sign-up bonus stays for at least one year bc I hate to miss it.
Hmmm guess this might be good to combine with MR or UR points for ANA around the world?
I like the content, but man, that constant zooming and cropping on the video is awful to watch.
So amazing thanks
You don't mention the eupgrade certificates or how to use them. They can be used on pretty much any flight operated by Air Canada even points bookings and can get you from coach to business even on international flights (if you use like 10)
Doesn’t work for me personally, but a solid card!
Will this be subject to 5/24. Or will this be one of the relaxed” cards?
