by YouTube Team

It has been a while since we have seen Chase Ultimate Rewards add a new, valuable transfer partner to their Ultimate Rewards Program. But Chase adding Aeroplan is a solid addition to a program that really could use the boost and it will increase ways to earn Aeroplan miles. In addition to improving Chase UR points and the UR program. Chase is releasing Aeroplan co-branded credit cards in 2021. And could this by Chase, also hurt the value of American Express Membership Reward points and Capital One Miles?

I love this move as a Canadian citizen living in the USA, especially with aeroplans great new stopover rule and elimination of many award fees.

Idk how you're getting the gym time in during the pandemic, but you're looking Swole Man!

I don't think Areoplan will be exclusive to chase. They already have a partnership with Amex and Areoplan cards in Canada. I could be wrong though.

American Airlines needs a partnership ASAP, their credit cards are really bad.

Chase has to be willing to make a strong commitment to Aeroplane with a premium card, to include at least full Star Alliance lounge access and primary car rental coverage at least in Canada for starters.

Love how Chase is saying; "Oh, not until late next year", sending everyone who's been looking for this card to the 5/24 garden. Keeping those AE apps down. This competition is brutal with Chase and AE.

I really don’t think your WISHES are practical for Chase. Perhaps I will be wrong!

Other Chase cards with foreign carriers like BA, Iberia, and Aer Lingus are also transfer partners with Amex so forcing Aeroplan to drop Amex/CapOne would be quite the abnormal move. I bet the delay is related to negotiations on revenue sharing with the co-branded card. One party may want international travel to pick up again before issuing a card that is primarily targeted at… international travel 🙂

Great move by Chase and I think it would be an even better move if they became exclusive with Aeroplan. Big news in the credit card industry. Take care Dustin and keep the family safe.

As a West Coast transplant, I need Chase to add Alaska Airlines. I think they are a better fit than Amex (greater availability to earn points, so Alaska has typically been guarded on how to earn) REALLY want Alaska Airlines. Add Aeroplan, then Alaska and some other foriegn carrier like Turkish?
