NOTE: you can find an application page for the Freedom Flex already by searching on google (Chase is running google ads), and can request a product change already too. Not publicly on Chase’s website yet, official release is still tomorrow

For me, Discover has done a better job here. Still not making me regret doing my product change.

Freedom flex replaces the regular freedom card, so same benefits and sign up bonus

I don't shop at Walmart and only use PayPal seldomly. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Oh, well.

Does chase still allow combined inquiries? I want to apply for both freedom unlimited and the flex

I upgraded my useless chase slate to the Freedom Flex *today*… just to have the cell phone protection 🙂

As the Flex is a new card, does the 12 month rule regarding product changes still apply? Do I have to hold the Freedom for a year before changing even though the Freedom is effectively being replaced?

Shifu you should consider taking PayPal… I’ve wanted to buy one of your wallets for a while but won’t use CC on browser websites

None if the two categories work for me. Live in NYC, no Walmart for me, don’t use paypal.

I was really hoping for Apple Pay, or PayPal to pay my car insurance. Walmart is a plus too.

Glad i dont have either card. I dont shop at walmart and barely use paypal. Those are smart choices by chase. Holiday season coming up and you can literally buy everything at walmart and for those that do not have walmart near by like me, there is always ebay

Q3 was worthless to me, and looks like Q4 is even more worthless. What are you doing Chase!!

I’m surprised at you not switching from the Amazon card to the Freedom this past quarter, but I suppose it depends on how much spending you do there. I am a heavy amazon shopper (don’t really online shop anywhere else), so the moment I saw the last category I swapped it. 5 UR is almost always 7.5% to me, vs the 5% from my Amazon card. I think I’ll have just about exhausted it (bought lots of stuff for other people+reimbursement), so very happy about last quarter. Don’t really know if I want to go to a Walmart, especially since the only thing I’d get might be groceries, invariably worse than my closer-nearby store. Oh well, next quarter I suppose.

Don’t shop at Walmart or use PayPal. What a waste of a quarter…

Go into the paypal app and get a paypal key (essentially a mastercard gets generated for you) then attach that to gas station apps and amazon and you can get 5% cash back. I just did this on my own and can confirm it works as a bonus. Also if you have xfinity you can pay them with this paypal key.

If you don’t have the Chase Freedom card and get it within the next 2 weeks. Are you only eligible for only November and December to rack up the cash back points???
Or is it a year round from the day you get it ?

Re: PayPal. U can pay at lot of places even Amazon when that period ends tap pay (iPhone or others) or gift cards for other places not taking PayPal. Or just send yourself or friends money. So many options using PayPal
