Thanks for transparency Sebby! By the way I would love for you to do a video of how much income you are getting for YouTube! Take care!

Chase cards should at least match Amex Blue Preferred or Gold on grocery/gas/dining.

That's a no brainer.

Hey Sebby, love the channel (New Subscriber here). I’m considering signing up for the Sapphire preferred for that sign up bonus. Can I downgrade after my first year and still keep the points? Truthfully I feel like my Amex Gold card gives me more value. But 80K sign up bonus is looking pretty nice. What are your thoughts?

I watch Sebby's videos for his cackulators… I am not disappointed there were two in this episode! lol
I keep thinking Chase will gear CSP as a grocery and dining driver to make it more competitive with the Gold Card… Then bam… We will have a fee increase. But I don't know if 2x back would cover it!

Is it possible for me to hold multiple platinum Cards at once? For example, the vanilla platinum card and the Charles Schwab Platinum?

I love that Chase is pivoting with the groceries! That’ll just be more points for us to use when we actually can travel again.

I definitely look for these kinds of benefits especially this year when I'm not traveling. Hopefully this becomes permanent. Let's get the gas next!

Some people are traveling. We left the states earlier this month to the UK. 14 day quarantine was no big deal. Now we're free to roam around England, Scotland and Ireland. Early next year we are headed to Turkey. You can travel, you just have to be smart about it. Pay attention to what countries are open for you to enjoy. Then go!!

I'll be honest, I think it would be awesome if Chase launched a grocery spending specific card. Similar to the Gold card, high multipliers for grocery and something else (dining, gas, etc?) I know it doesn't really make sense because then the rotating categories of the Freedom and Freedom Flex would overlap, but still think it would be cool

the only thing CSP has going for it is the high bonus and the small little travel bonus. with a 95 fee and subpar benefits compared to the freedom line I would just get the bonus and cancel

Plastiq sucks, I got the CSP thinking I can pay my mortgage through them but I can’t because they don’t allow visa payments for mortgages. So before you apply for a card please make sure you see what your car qualifies to make payments on whether it’s mortgages or student loans because they’re extremely picky on what you can actually pay.

If Chase would just add Global Entry to the CSP it would settle everything. I mean even BoA can do it on their similarly price travel card. Yeah Chase points are worth more so 125$ annual fee wouldn’t be a dealbreaker in that scenario for me.

Hi Sebby! I got CSP this year and kind of wondering how it can pay off the annual fee 2nd year onwards. Do you have a video pertaining to this concern? Appreciate your vids, man. Very helpful.

I feel like groceries are a big enough spend that most people who care about credit already have a card to target it

pretty sure Freedom Unlimited and Freedom Flex offer 5x points (marketed as 5% cash back) on grocery store purchases up to $12k or 1 year, whichever comes first

Sebby! I am looking into the Chase pay yourself back feature as you mentioned here in the video. Right now, if Chase expenses something that is part of the $300 travel credit, you do not earn any points for that expense (because chase "pays for it"), and you said use the pay-yourself back feature on that particular expense, BUT you want us to pay it back with points that we didn't receive for this expense? What is the benefit here? I think I'm missing something?

Hi Sebby. Probably answered a lot already, but I have CSR card and just renewed this month (forgot). Does it make sense for me to also get the AMEX Platinum if I qualify for 125K bonus? Or downgrade the CSR?
