Comps are all pre-paid. If they comp u limo rides guaranteed u have already lost enough to buy your own limo.
In Ontario 🇨🇦 gov has forced new car dealers to advertise all in pricing. In Vegas 39.00 room is really 85.00. everybody feels taken advantage of. Local gov could put end to this shady way of conducting business.

MGM used to give me a paltry $5 freeplay per week which eventually they dropped entirely. Wynn at least gave me $15 per week freeplay and they've been increasing it regularly, so I now get $50 freeplay per week. I feel like Wynn values me as a customer way more than MGM, so I'm going all-in with Wynn.

Thank you to our hosts Mark and Shawn. Good input. Who knew that a program change would result in fewer rewards being awarded and redeeming would require greater in number?

When staying at the Wynn, they always waive resort fees upon requesting it. I just don’t have access to the gym.

Thanks for breaking this all down, guys. All I have to say is BOO!!! I wonder how long it will take them to give back some of the points. Do you think this is the new normal in Vegas rewards programs?

Thanks for the info. I find the subjective points for VP frustrating, can’t really evaluate the value if I don’t know how many points I’m getting. It’s already speculative enough in regard to the mailed offers you get. Would need to go stay a few times and play good amount of coin to figure it. May just stick with regular poker at Bellagio rather than put enough coin on $1 VP to figure out what I get, seems risky. Then again, Vegas, especially the strip has turned their back on VP players anyway. The only places worth playing for an AV according to some friends is some bars have rewards programs with a small +EV.

MGM Gold gives no resort fees on up to two rooms btw, so it’s definitely a positive for groups too.

At 10:40 Mark mentions matching the World of Hyatt CC to get Pearl status at MGM then mentions waived resort fees. At 4:30 it shows waived RF's at Gold status, not Pearl. I'll look for myself now but was Mark misspoken and on which part?

AWESOME Break down! As M Life Gold ( like you Shawn) member I just book Mandalay Bay for March Madness, this month .. because I was afraid longer I waited I’d get less.. you guys reassured me I did the right thing instead of waiting and getting screwed out of scraps they give now!🍻

IMO as long as they leave the match alone who cares what the earning is……………..as you said big gamblers will have no issues but being able to get Gold and no resort fees with ZERO play is huge…….

Thanks for the info! 👍 With the current Mlife program, you can convert points to express comps. Will you be able to convert slot dollars to point dollars with the new MGM Rewards program?

I love this a lot but I wish it would've happened during the reopening period of Vegas. I think it would've gotten more people to visit and it would've meant more staycations! 😉

I earn my Platinum status through gaming, so I’m happy to see they are rewarding gamblers more than nightclubbers. I typically earn Platinum status during a four night stay playing video poker. I’m interested to see how they change their tier point earnings for video poker. The strip hotels give the least amount of tier points to video poker players. I saw something leaked a few days ago that they are going to give airfare credit to Platinum members. Is there any confirmation about that?

Now they’ll send you to Carrot Top for TEAR credits. More reason to avoid The Strip. Stay away.

I do have a question…I missed a little of segment, I live near a MGM casino…Will play there be a status match or good way to help build tier levels?
