It seems like the whole world has been disorganized like the Rio this year! Happy new year love your vlogs thanks.
Shawn is a cheese head 🤢
Vegas will always be a top destination. Wait until late 2021. It will be super packed!
NYE on Fremont is closed to the public however if you are a guest at a DTLV you will be allowed on the Fremont Experience & my understanding the $25 fee is out.
Great info guys thanks and Happy New Year to you and your families 🥂
Embrace the chaos…
Bring back the brilliant hotel management people to run the city.
Glad you are making this video. Hoped you would. Im a local now and would like to know fun things to do
Wow, the Rio sounds like a train wreck the Circa seems overpriced thank you for sharing your video guys stay safe, and Happy New Year.👍👍👍
Note: Fremont Street Experience decided on December 31 to eliminate the $25 access and only allow hotel guests. https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/tourism/fremont-street-experience-limits-nye-access-to-hotel-guests-2237126/
Famous song about RED SHOES:
Roller Coaster Chaser here…have ridden some dandy s across America…it is One of The Best at Night. Just be sure to wear lacrosse or football pads and headgear
When Mark said everyone knows Im A Circa Fan Boy…did anyine else get a flash image of him looking like Will Farrel in a SNL cheer uniform with Circa across his chest?
Congrats
In Honor of 2020…Who thinks when Shawn and Mark get together in February that Shawn should stay at the Cromwell and Mark at the Rio…that would be some Funny Sh*t
We recorded this on Tuesday and Fremont just changed their rules. Here is a post about it on our website if you are interested in the details. Thanks to everyone for watching! https://milestomemories.com/fremont-street-experience-blocks-non-hotel-guests/
I would have tried cooking my own meal at the All American Bar and Grill, and for anyone else who wanted to eat there.
Thanks Shawn & Mark! Great video as always!!!!
They don't know or care what is open……as long as you are wearing your mask.
Hapy new year guys. How is the food/eating situation in Las Vegas if you're vegan/vegetarian.
Good video, where in Michigan is your buddy from?
I’m in East Lansing and it’s freezing. Good work.
The legacy club looks awesome! Have a great New Years guys..👍🏻
Happy new years! I appreciate your coverage and vegas history that i personally share (since 1997). As a local and or interstate traveller. I'm staying away from frem st./ Strip./ Bars! Too many people.
I’d definitely want to be Anonymous if I won $15.4 Million, and agree with the conspiracy that they’ve tightened the slots.
Your rio story is not unique. I experienced the same shit at bellagio. I got different info, hours openings etc. from everyone I talked to (front desk, guest services, hosts) and websites.
Hopefully there won’t be any violence tonight with a strong police presence
I stayed at Flamingo from Thursday to Monday the week before Christmas and had a great time. I go to LV for shopping and dining which was still great..mostly. Wicked Spoon was mediocre and I heard a rumor that head staff are still not back at work so the main Chef isn't there making sure of quality. I don't know if this is true, but three different people told me similar stories. Wicked Spoon was just O.K., and not to the standard for the price. all the other restaurants I went to were of good quality and service.

No because they loss of money and to keep the protesters out. It won't be as much as they anticipated.owners are shaking big losses.that why they wouldn't shut down lied about covid deaths. Must paid off lots money.but Vegas is behind in what is called phofits shame cause local and food chains are hit hard.nightclubs hit hard.which it something that shouldn't be open or limited at distant with tables and masks.
Vegas is sleepy hollow.
I can't travel because as an essential worker I have restrictions. I'd would have loved to have been in Las Vegas at least 5 times in 2020, but it wasn't in the cards. Thank you so much for bring Las Vegas into my home. I appreciate you and the other Las Vegas reviewers. Keep up the good work and stay safe, my friend.
When I can finally travel to Las Vegas and Main Street Station is open again, I'll have a Royal Red Lager and toast a glass to you.
I just want to say shot out to you hope 2021 be better for you I love your videos and podcast you are the best I'm going to try to go to Vegas October 31 of 2021 haven't been since 20 in 1998 I can't wait have to plan and get my money together it's me and my cousin I'm single don't feel bad I'll be 43 big ones January 28 I miss Vegas so much I hope 43 not old to enjoy Vegas Much love to you you the best good 2021 hope it be the best for you and your family and friends
Screw the casinos
Jesus will have to return to Earth to save Las Vegas
Vegas is a ghost town with the virus going on, why would anybody go there or film it?
Happy New Year Shawn from Thomas at DLVTT in Denmark
I follow several Las Vegas oriented YouTube channels. This is by far the best one.
First time I rode the NYNY coaster my nephew was visiting. He was too young/short to ride. After my bone-thrashing ride I swore never again. Since, I had a C-spine fusion. Was my neck issue caused by the rollercoaster – and/or disc degeneration??
As a 40+ resident of Las Vegas (20 years as a dealer, 20 as a cab driver) perhaps I should be ashamed to admit that I learned more about the goings-on in Vegas by watching a couple of hours of your videos this morning than I'd learned from local media, FB and Twitter in all of 2020. Well done. Subscribed and thumbed up!
Excellent video. I love the range of topics you discuss in your podcasts. Always interesting and never boring, unless it is about Elon Musk's Boring Company 😄
Happy New Year from Canada!
i booked for april 26 at new york new york. I'm hopeful things will be fine then.
Hi Shawn and Mark; thank you for this NYE update. Shawn; the thing that gets me about the Rio experience is that this is what they do as a business. For years! It is not like a group of folks decided to just go work at the front desk although their experience was in another industry. Hospitality and Customer Service IS their business. Anyway, I am so happy you didn't have to pay for the room. Happy New Year! CAB😊
Was at the Rio once for Penn & Teller. First time visiting that property at the same time. Walked around and played there for an hour before the show. Was not impressed. Dirty, run down and the restrooms were filthy. Never understood why people rave about the Rio. First impressions are lasting. Either way, your trip sounded like a clusterf***! Lol. Enjoy the podcast and your videos!
Their saying their not paying as the mechine malfunctioned! 💩💩💩💩💩💩 so i guess their money caused it to happen! 💩💩💩💩💩💩
Haha Cromwell discussion cracked me up. I stayed there a few weeks ago, strongly disliked it. But to be fair, I moved there for a single unplanned night after a flight debacle, from a Bellagio corner penthouse. The room at Cromwell was literally the size of my bathroom at Bellagio and I had to move furniture to open my suitcase (it was in real nice shape but I thought it had no redeeming qualities, and has a minibar but no fridge, which is why I didn't just stay at Caesars Palace that night). Oh well, live and learn. I wont stay there again but I too like the casino. Also was charged reward credits there for internet which is supposed to be free, without them asking or telling me. Still havent gotten a refund even though their guest services manager apologized and said I should not have been charged and even if I was they shouldnt ever spend my reward credits without my permission.
Is the Mirage still closed Monday -Thursday?
I think Binions still has $1,000,000 on display – all in $100 bills, which is nowhere as pretty as all the gold. As a kid many decades ago, my parents and I went to Lax Vegas and saw the Binions $1,000,000 display of $10,000 bills. The US government eventually demanded the return of those bills (which were really meant for inter-Federal Bank transfers). This was a time when Circus Circus was still new and had high wire acts going on above the casino floor.
Fix the Coaster? How about just rip the whole Hotel shit n' caboodle down it's such a dump!
