I use the lowepro protactic 350 aw ll i know everyone and their side lovers got them but i find it easy to travel with a bit heavy when full tho and it fits under the seat on planes

I thought about getting a nomatic for a long time but ultimately went for an osprey due to its simplicity and function.
100% right on! I got this bag last month and thoroughly enjoy this bag. It is SO well thought of. Worth every penny! I got the combination with wallet and journal. It does stick out a little under the seat in front.

Despite not doing a great deal of travel; I find that as I get older, I want to haul less and less around with me. By now, my family knows the basic "traveling with me rules". 1. One carry on suitcase per person. 2. One personal bag per person. 3. Everyone schleps their own gear. This applies even to car trips…though my wife pointedly ignores the size constraint on her suitcase when we go by car. For trips that range from overnight to about three days, my choice of bags is the Samsonite Wheeled Underseater (roughly $65-$100 depending on sales). Basic dimensions with some small variations are 12.5 x 9 x 14. I'm a pretty big guy, but have no problem living out of this small bag for three days. My only gripe is that my iPad Pro is juuust a bit too long to lay flat on the bottom. Other than that, it's been a really good bag. Never had any issues fitting it under airline seats; though I don't fly on Spirit, and Amazon reviews on this bag have a few people say that it won't work out (and some that say it does). Anyway, this has been just about perfect for 99% of all the traveling I do.
