Planet Hollywood Las #Vegas was one of the last megaresorts to open on the #Strip! It sat closed for over 6 months, but recently reopened its doors and I was there to do a full casino tour and hotel #review. The former Aladdin still impresses in many ways.
During this full casino tour, property tour and hotel review we’ll look at my room including the stunning views plus we’ll tour the casino during the day and at night and I’ll show you everything interesting that you can find in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. What is it like to stay and play at Planet Hollywood? This video will answer that question!

Have you ever been here? Tell me what you think of Planet Hollywood Las Vegas!
It’s our favourite place to gamble but I’ve never stayed there . The rooms look nice and I love the bath!! Brilliant video again and keep up the good work!! 🇬🇧
I miss this place….wish they would open the border 🙁 the last time I was in Vegas I stayed here..so long ago now (Dec 2019). I liked the video and how you were telling facts people might not know.
Outstanding video Shawn!!! (and Mark? LOLOL) Shawn, great room location, and nice room too. I think in my old age I am afraid of heights now. LOLOL You are SO LUCKY to get those beautiful cloud patterns over Caesar's on your dusk shot! And the fountains on the night shot !!! WOW.
So I know in November I've got my plate full. I really want to eat at Ocean One for $5.99. And there so many casino's have never been to that I have to see, photo and video: Planet Hollywood, Aria, Cosmo, Plaza, Circa is going to be so cool, Venetian, Wynn, Waldorf Astoria Sky Bar photo op views of the strip.
Well once again, Shawn, an outstanding video. Keep up the good work you two (Mark) and I'll see you at Saginaw's Deli. 🙂
Nice video. Thank you
Excellent review. Truly one of the best places to stay in vegas and has a fun and lively casino.
I havent got through the whole video yet, but I always watch these to check out the different sports books – I just subscribed so hopefully on all the Vegas Casinos you do will show them… and if you take requests I'd love to see the Rampart/JW Marriott for some reason nobody ever does a review of that one, and the new Circa opening this week is amazing
Hi Shawn; this is the Best PH video I have seen to date of the re-opened property! Thank you so much. One of the things I really enjoy about your videos is the history you provide about the properties. Love it! CAB 😊
Great video , reasearching for my 50th birthday ideas in 2022 hopefully us Aussies are allowed to travel by then !,,,
Please don't wear a mask inside your room!
Another fabulous video…
I love the little history bits you do….Aladdin history…it makes you realise where you are and what’s been replaced with what…
Are there any more trouble spots now the Raiders have taken over the “Death Star”
Your room again looks fabulous…such a fabulous view..
Yes the King lives on in our hearts…ALWAYS….
Thanks for another high quality informative video…..👍
nice. What is your favorite room? Hotel?
Be there in a few weeks! Favorite spot.
Ever plan on going to Reno,Tahoe,Jackpot? Love the vids keep them up.
As a low budget gambler, I love the $15 baccarat table. I did see a woman get a seven card straight flush on high card flush here. Probably my favorite casino.
this is my favorite place on the strip. perfect location with easy access to wherever you want to go. it's never THAT far a walk to get home no matter which direction you head, as you're right in the middle of the strip.
reasonable rates for a nice room, quality cheap eats/drinks in the miracle mile mall for when you just want something quick and easy. and they actually have 3:2 blackjack for $15 at tables that are adjacent to the party pit (bordering the heart bar). or at least they did pre-covid. hopefully they still do. always feels like more of a party atmosphere on the floor than at some other places.
easy in and out to the airport as well, which can be clutch depending on when you're getting in / leaving.
negatives – wish the sports book was a little bigger, and the pool is just a pool and nothing to write home about.
will be bummed if Caesars sells it off, as rumored.
I stayed there when it was the Aladdin, and had a similar view of the fountains
This used to be the Aladin Hotel
I know PH had to 'modernize' the rooms a few years ago, but man, I used to look forward to staying at PH to see what movie costumes and set props were in the movie themed rooms! By any chance does anyone know where all the movie props, costumes and pictures in each room eventually went? Are they stored in some dark place? Or did they get sold?
Nice hotel walked through there to use their rest room lol
I get offers for a variety of M Life and Caesar's properties and I often overlook pH. Definitely a solid room with a solid view. Thanks for the video!
I stayed here last year. Room was great. casino was great. It’s in the middle of the strip. Only bad part is if you park in garage it’s a long walk through mall to hotel.
Surprisingly very nice room
Thank you for the great detail video keep up the great work 👍😍
Really wanted to stay here for our upcoming trip but my husband wanted to stay at the Paris instead so we are going to try that instead. Hopefully we get to go again and stay here.
We stayed there twice, Nov 2013 and Nov 2018 for our 25th and 30th anniversary. We will be going back as soon as the Covid crap is over. We stayed a week each time. Totally loved just about everything about PH. We visited every resort on the strip and knew we had made the right choice! The casino layout was our favorite ad the Miracle Mile was fantastic. PH has the perfect strip location, never too far away from other resorts when you want to catch a show there. Overall a very good value. I asked the wife if she wanted to try the Cosmo or Caesars next and she said PH was the one.
Great vids mate really enjoying
I love PH, you get Cosmo location at 1/5th of the price. Last time I stayed there, I had partial view of the strip and a HUGE red light outside made my room look like a brothel. The bathroom did not look at all like the one in your video (i was in late 2016 though, dunno if they remodeled after that). Nice atmosphere.
Planet Hollywood one of my favorite hotels good shops and eateries central location and usually great concerts there
Was your room North or South Tower ? I normally stay @ Paris but this looks great .. which hotel you like better ?
Expensive as hell you not going to eat cheap and the price of drinks is terrible. If
You don't have money it's terrible.
No coffee maker in the roon?
This took me back! I got married in that very Chapel on 13th April 2008 and stayed in the Planet Hollywood for a week or so. Loved every minute of it and thank you for uploading this video, it brought back some lovely memories for us. We're from the UK by the way.:-)
Sold!
Headed there 2/27/21!
I’ve never looked into planet Hollywood but it’s pretty nice.
passion pit open?
geez, youda thought they would have gotten rid of that horribly ugly casino carpet by now!!!!! thanks for the great video!!!
wow so ghetto
Just came back from my PH trip…Your advice of when you get lost on the casino floor, orient yourself on the Heart Bar is golden! New Sub!
Planning to stay there in July for my anniversary
the blue sky is dark in miracle mile I'm scared
Going to be there next week
I stayed in that same room last time down exact same room
