Welcome to MtM #Vegas – Our weekly look at the cool #news and happenings in Sin City.
This past weekend we stayed at one of the top suites at Resorts World Las Vegas. We’ll talk about a surprise gift of a Crockfords One Bedroom suite plus how we spent my son’s 21st birthday. We hit up Barry’s Downtown Prime and even stayed at Bellagio too. Tons to go over including a last look at the old Bellagio rooms.
In other news we talk about the small update to Nevada’s mask mandate which will lead to vaccinations being required at a lot of large venues. Plus Circa now has a 4 Diamond rating, Clark County now has more Hawaiians than Maui, the casino floor is changing before our eyes and the high speed train to Vegas isn’t looking good.

I like Circa, but it will never match Bellagio or Wynn
Oceanside is the same distance then cedar city but cause of traffics it takes 5 hours instead of 3. They need a direct train from Vegas to the beach please. A few weeks ago when I was driving to Oceanside I said the same thing I said they have all this money but there’s two lanes on a major freeway in the middle of nowhere I don’t understand that
A cruise ship casino docked at Maui or Oahu! Would be amazing
Pooh or get off the pot …definitely sound advice lol . I’m Diamond status with Caesars and Gold with MLife and find Caesars rewards isn’t really that good anymore. The points don’t add up as fast . MLife is way better. That suite at Resorts World was very nice ! Glad it was a good birthday weekend. Great video as always gentlemen 😎😎😎
Resorts World down to $69 for Hilton and $90 for Conrad on their website.
Thanks for the great info!
Las Vegas Maui and Manila.
MGM with the drug test, financial check and now vaccines for new hires eliminates at least 40% of the population for hire.
Pardon my naivety, if they require a vaccine, just look at it that Jesus doesn't want you to go there (casino's won't, until 80% + have the vax, which will never happen)….hundreds thousands of the vaxed clearly know there is something wrong (they are contagious as anyone)……just wait, Vegas will be back!
What an awesome hook up for the suite!! Will we be seeing footage?? Will be in Vegas next week excited to see the RW food court 🥳🥳
The Nugget….4 star….HAHAHAHAHAHA! Maybe in 1985. The Plaza has better rooms. Seriously, it does.
The "skill based" games are lame. They could be awesome, but the ones I have tried were not really giving results based on skill.
The casinos love the idea of stadium or stand alone electronic table games because they don't have to pay a dealer and the players don't toke off money that "belongs" in their pocket, but I don't expect players will follow, especially if the player card benefits are tiny or zero.
The insanity of mandating a "vaccine" (it isn't a true vaccine, medically speaking) is that the CDC itself said just last week these "vaccines" will NOT prevent you from getting C19. This is not only crazy, but such insanity makes a class action lawsuit ripe for the filing. With other meds such as HCQ and Invermectin (the latter having huge success in India) being completely left out of any discussion makes the "mandate" laughable – and illegal. You can't mandate a treatment that still isn't FDA approved, but you also cannot mandate a treatment when other treatment options are open to people. Which brings us to what this "mandate" is REALLY all about: maximizing pharmaceutical profits. This "mandate" nonsense will ensure only one thing: Vegas vacations will plummet. Implement mandates – feel free. And then watch your bookings go into free fall.
Do went downtown when you want to see all the Vegas, I feel that the circuit is in the wrong spot it's a strip Motel the circus is a strip motel Old Vegas was for old Vegas we love the mermaid and the Bayou Golden Gate is really well it's low and when it comes to the rooms the casino is nice but the rooms are
do you guys ever think that work will be done on the fountainebleu/The Drew, (especially with mariott and koch industries being one of the biggest private companys in the US), i say yes!
Hey Guys. Hope your well. Great video. Look at the big comment war you 2 started. Way to go Mark. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Shawn Tell your son Happy Birthday and enjoy
Guys. How can I follow the MTM podcasts? I just follow you 2 on here.
How often do you do the podcasts?
Congrats for your son getting to stay in those casinos
Love your show
I still feel, strongly that Resorts World is a major disappointment- extremely boring, unexciting! Also, it is largely overpriced, and service is grudgingly delivered. Definitely no thrills being there. Missing a definite Las Vegas vibe! I don’t plan to stay. I still prefer the Wynn Resort, and next the Cosmopolitan, ring the bell for me.
A friend of mine, who is a Hawaiian native, told me that, a few years ago, he stayed at California while in LV on business. When he came downstairs for breakfast his first morning, he ran into his aunt and several cousins from Hawaii in the casino.
Just got back from Vegas..My trip was a belated 65/retirement birthday celebration and I had the best time ever!!! Thanks for your videos! I was "prepared" for what to expect regarding the masks, covid, and what was open and closed…I stayed at the Mirage…and did everything on my must do list Thanks for helping me make the memories so fantastic!!
Please don't play 6/5 Blackjack, Stadium Blackjack, or any Blackjack with a Continuous Shuffle Machine!!!!!!!! JUST SAY NO Everyone!!!! Also, really fun to hear about your weekend with your son for his 21st! Good times!! Brings back memories for me as well!

Residents of Hawaii of all ethnicities, not just native Hawaiians, have been moving to Las Vegas in large numbers for a good twenty-plus years now. The rate has only increased as the cost of living in Hawaii (especially to buy or rent property) has skyrocketed. It’s nice that the latest Census numbers have reflected that reality. However, Kauai only has roughly 75,000 residents total, so it makes sense that there are more Pacific Islanders in Las Vegas than on Kauai.
I like the Raiders policy, except it’s clear to me that masks should be required whether one is vaccinated or not. Recent studies have made it clear that vaccines are helping, especially in vastly reducing the incidences of severe illness and death. However, some vaccinated people are getting the virus and are capable of transmitting the virus to others, so masking is, in my opinion, necessary. Not to mention, the latest surge came about after mask mandates were lifted, supposedly, for vaccinated people. Well, it’s clear quite a few non-vaccinated people had no honor and have played the largest part in the increase in cases. Vaccinated people still need to be careful around others, preferably masked.
Glad the room at Bellagio was to your liking this time. I’m secretly hoping that the room I booked for my upcoming trip is in the Spa Tower so I have a soaking tub and walk-in shower. I actually like the fountain view better from the Ultra Hip Strip View rooms at Planet Hollywood, but having the music playing in a Bellagio room while watching the fountains is a better overall experience, as long as my room isn’t overlooking the Bellagio parking garage.
Golden Nugget feels quite poky, rooms may be nice but the overall feeling around the property is one of claustrophobia –
Yeah, random number generators have "old lady" sensors built in now. Must be an Elon Musk innovation.
That conversation about the old slot lady watching your machine is so funny
How long until CET or MGM designate one property as vaccine required to enter and that casino is mask free………………that's what I'm waiting for.
I want a simple pool with planters and separation so I can be alone while at the pool. I don't need music TV, lights noise.
Sun silence with pool dips when I get to hot.
