- how to get approved for a business credit card
- Personal Credit Score
- Business Proof/ Validation
- Bank and card issuers WANT more applicants because of a few reasons
- Interchange fees
- High Reward Probability
- 9-5 40k salary worker- spend is constant. Interchange fees consistent
- Business owners have more volatility. Higher chance for business owners to have increased income potential and spend potential. High spend means more money or more interchange fees for card issuers
- Personal expenses (On the topic of spend, lets answer some popular questions I receive with regards to if you can put personal spend on business cards
- Disclaimer. I am not a financial expert. I am not a legal authority telling people what they can and can’t do. Im a simple man. A regular guy on YouTube talking about credit cards so Ill speak out of experience rather than say what is okay and what isn’t.
- I have never had an issue with putting any of my personal spend on business credit cards. Bank and credit issuers first of all want that interchange fee like we mentioned earlier.
- There is no way where banks and issuers can determine what is and isn’t a business expense. Think of it like this. You are a mukbang Youtuber and on your chase ink cash card it is all food purchases you need to make videos for your business. Every business purchases different things for their business.
- Shutdowns. Shutdowns happen when consumers mess with the rewards system. Getting points or self referring- main points all come from that. Not using your business credit card on purchases they are unsure about.
- So how do I manage my books if I have personal expenses on a business credit card.
- I use a software called Quickbooks to organize it
- At one point I have had 5 different accounts managing my books for the business. The more businesses you have the more hectic accounting gets.
- If you have a business card and you are running a I highly recommend you to use a service that automatically sync to your accounts
- If you have seen my credit cards video you will see I have at least 13 credit cards and I need a platform that organizes and syncs all of them together. It saves me hundreds if not thousands of lifetime hours.
- They have different packages catered towards your need. I wish I started organizing my books since the very beginning of my journey regardless of the income I was making.
- Another alternative to this would be using Google Sheets. Once you have this set up you can get the basics down but once you run into having multiple cards and accounts this really can get hectic.

been subbed to you since you were at 9k… love what you do man!
Dropped a like for those twerking skills lmao
I've been building my brand for 5 years and finally got my LLC for it last spring.
Along with applying for 3 different business credit cards in the same month and getting approved for all of them because it really is hard to get denied for business credit.
In the fall I applied to have my business file as an S Corp because if you know how to structure it things work out better for you come tax time. Though everyone's circumstance is different.
Of course we'd love more long videos like this, explaining the behind the scenes of credit cards and business building.
I have all 3 Chase ink cards. Got them in the last 6 to 8 months, and got help to meet the minimum spend. Now I have almost 400,000 UR points!!
Thanks to your videos I have gotten all 3 Ink Cards and the BBP 🙌🏼 Would love to see a video on your take on if you had to start a business in 2020 what kind of business would you start today? Also dropped the like button 😂
Does a sub contractor qualify for business credit card?
Just got my EIN today. Was approved for CIC last month but I'm going for the CIP in summer and I can't wait to have my business name on my card 😂
Is that " The Compound Effect" in the background?
I would definitely say more videos like this. I have an e-commerce business and videos like this interesting. Just got accepted to Amex Blue Business Cash and am going to be expanding into Chase Ink cards in the future
What happens if worst case scenario, you max a business credit card out and are not able to pay it back. Do you file bankruptcy and dissolve the business name ?
Signing up for QuickBooks with your link. Thank you.
Really useful video thanks Brian
Hey Brian do any cards in the US have minimum spends required to keep the card? In Canada, the Rogers World Elite Mastercard has been very popular since it has a $0 annual fee and 1.75% cashback on everything and a net no FX fee. However, Rogers recently announced starting June, the card has a huge devaluation coming and part of it is that one would need to spend $15000 annually in order to keep the card. Has this been done before or is it the start of a horrible trend?
Just got approved for my first business credit card today. I think two factors helped: a clear capacity to make payments (i.e.: a job with steady income) and a good personal credit score. I've also signed up for D&B, net 30 accounts; I don't think it factors that much (for a startup).
waiting on that sofi vid like 👀🙇🏻♀️
What is the microphone you are using? Looks awesome.
🙏🏽 thank you so much!!!
Luv the lights!
I got approved for the American Express Blue Business Plus card which I do love as part of my Amex Trifecta. I hope to get the Chase Ink Preferred One day.
Great job!
Hey man im a new reseller and i have to file taxes for ebay can you make a vid on how to make a LLC for reselling or A LLC in Genral? thanks man great vid
I started a lawn maintenance business. I only do 3 houses part time while I work a full time job. My personal credit score is around 689. My highest card is 4k limit. i applied for a business card card and got a 20k limit and a 18k limit.
Brian how do you feel about Amex financial review? I don’t understand why we should show our tax returns to a credit card company? I understand some people get value from the card but is it worth showing them all your most private info?
I have a friend and my sister that work at Bank of America and they are offering me a business credit card, however idk if I should take the offer because I know Amex is way better. Any thoughts??
Awesome
Brian u are so adorable
Why are you like this? 😂😂😂
On a Chase business card application, they ask for a tax identification number and under personal info. they ask for your SSN… so would this not still report to your individual credit report?
Awesome content Brian, I am looking to get approved for my first business card. I want to get the chase ink card but do not bank with them. I'm a sole proprietorship with an EIN. Not sure if I should pull the trigger yet. I want to improve my chances of getting approved.
PLEASE ANSWER — how does Brian/other Youtubers get the Amex Black Card for thumbnail pics? Im 99% sure it's not a photoshop job and i'm also 99% sure that none of the people actually have it, so how are they getting it? Is it like a demo/display card for marketing that you can get from Amex?
any way possible to see what a credit limit will be before approval
yo brian where you get that jacket at? and what's the brand?
Don't downplay yourself (4:30) it takes time to build an empire!
So you dont need time or vendor accounts?
what if your 18 and you want to start with a business credit card before regular card
Brian jung
Does the revenue or projected revenue reflect on what your limit is? Or is that just based off of personal credit? Also what about industry? Does that affect the limit?
Pimp just pimp love your videos
Good video
Would you recommend applying for a business credit card with the bank you have an account with?
I just love these videos. You should be a lot bigger than you already are no cap
