Do you feel like downtown has more action then the strip? Seems like the strip, got to many places closed because of low traffic and the places that are open has a huge lines.

Enjoyed the video. I can't believe you went up the escalator at McDonald's! It is infamous for always being broken. Walking up and down those stairs in 100+ heat is a real thrill.

Been going to Vegas for 20 years and I actually learned something from this video, Harrahs is supposed to have a Mardi Gras theme! Its just 'the place you walk through to get out of the heat' in my experience.
You may be right about TI struggling for customers, I am getting inundated with comp offers from them. I think they make a lot of their money from Senor Frogs on the weekends, if that isn't open they are going to have a hard time.

Great production. I gave my brother a tour a few years ago and he basically said to me “I’ve never seen Las Vegas this way” and he really thanked me and I think you’re doing pretty much what I did. Really appreciating the structures, the architecture and the art. going to places, Exploring places that most people don’t thanks.

I don't get why they needed to add a CVS where the pirates show was. There's a Walgreens and CVS on the other side of the strip, not to mention tons of small in-hotel convenience shops.

Love seeing the strip from the pavements…So glad they have the concrete buffers now…
Feel a lot safer knowing they are there. It gives you time to react…..if you have too!

Damn, I don't like huge huge crowds. Maybe this is the time to come to Vegas again. Easier to move around the strip. Only sucky thing is that most things are closed.
Interesting. The gondoliers inside used to sing, I wonder if they've changed that because of Covid?
It really sucks they closed the pirate shows. I did get lucky that I saw the show once before it closed. I saw the Sirens of TI.
the old pirate show was THE best. then treasure island wanted to appeal to a more adult theme and that show SUCKED.

18:30…MY favorite part of Caesars Palace is sadly no longer there, since it was replaced by The Coliseum…I REALLY LOVED Caesar’s Magical Empire, which was a 3-course dinner mixed with close-up and large scale magic shows and very well-done special effects…got to do it three times in the early 2000’s and STILL miss it!
