Hey Sebi, I have the Chase trifecta and to your comment I've always felt the setup lacks in the gas category, now that gas prices have been going up, I thought of getting something else gas dedicated..any suggestions?.. I will pass the $500/month for sure from now on …Doesn't have to be a tier one card
Is Wells Fargo visa a good card ?
I’m considering getting my first credit card
As someone’s first card with no credit history are they able to get approved for the freedom unlimited or flex? I always thought you needed at least some experience before applying to chase.
Speaking of beginner credit cards, are you going to do a review of the new Yotta credit card? They say no credit check is needed and your credit limit is whatever you have in your Yotta account. It appears to be a charge card since it is automatically paid off on the 28th of each month, but they say they do report to the credit bureaus to help with building a credit history. Since it was a no fee/no hard pull card, I signed up for it yesterday just to see what it's like.
Love the vids bro, hope to grow my channel like yours someday!
Why is the Savor One not on this list?
1) 3X on groceries, dining, entertainment and streaming (all uncapped)
2) Upside when paired with a Venture X/Venture
3) No foreign transaction fees, no annual fee
4) Relatively easy approval for newcomers
5) Capital One might have the best mobile app in the game
Hey Seb, love your channel. I’ve been hearing about Biden doing something with the bureaus. What’s that mean for credit scores in general scheme of building & cleaning credit?
I really see, the Apple Card, as a gateway beginner credit card. Basically for the people that wouldn't have gotten into the credit card space without it.
I just got the citi double cash card. Would it be worth it to get the custom cash too just for gas?
Sebby and Waller's Wallet are faithful to the US Bank Cash+. It was my first credit card. It'll always have a place in my card strategy.
My goodness, I’ve never disagreed more strongly with any of your videos! By my estimation, the Discover It is far and away the best starter card. For starters, they’re friendly to thin/nonexistent profiles. I have a lot of friends who are international students who get this as a first card.
They also have fast, friendly, US-based customer support to talk any nervous credit card beginners through any questions or problems.
Finally, they match your cash back for the first year! That makes it essentially a 2% cashback card with rotating 10% categories. That’s unbeatable for a starter card. I always suggest people pick up a Discover card first, hold it for a year, and then pursue all of the higher tier cards they want. I’m big-time into the points game these days, but my Discover still holds a cherished place in my wallet.
I checked my score, and I got a 740 because of you!
Hey Sebby! Thanks for another informative video. I started with the Discover IT secured and got unsecured recently to $1800. Chase is the next card on my list but didn’t realize I needed 12 month non-authorization to apply. Chase did offer me the Slate card when I applied for the Amazon Prime card. What should I do?
What's your current opinion on the ritz Carlton card?
How about a version of this for Low Spenders and/or non-travellers.
I work for a company that pays for all transportation and hotel stays. I travel so much going home is a Vacation.
Bruh this getting complicated…..imma just start paying for stuff with regular cash money💸💸💸
Haha! Hey Sebby great video! 👌
Can you do a Must Own or keeper card video ?
Do you have a discord? Or a place we can ask specific questions?
Thanks man I've been trying to start my journey but didn't know where to go.
Talk about the 5 end game cards
Appreciate all your videos, surprised you replied so many comments, keep up the good work and hope your channel continues to grow.

Starting out my trifecta was:
Discover It
Chase Freedom
Citi Double Cash
I'd add the Citi Costco Visa should be on the honorable mention list, because it's a pure cash card where the rewards are automatically sent to you after the calendar year, the % back is pretty good, and it doesn't have an annual fee. The downside would be that you need a Costco membership to pair with it, so if that's not your thing, it won't work as well.
I currently have a 710 fico score and I am 2 cards under the 5/24 chase rule Do you think I have a shot at applying for a chase saphire preferred or resserve??? Or should I start with the freedom card? My oldest credit card account is a 10 yr old capital one with a 3k cl I have 2 more credit one cards 1k each , a revolving credit line with a credit union and I got approved for a Citi American airlines platinum select card 6 months ago with a 7k CL and I am an AU on two 15 year old accounts with excellent payment history and big credit limits…… I don't have a banking relationship with chase but I can open an account if needed
