Whichever I am working towards sign up bonus
I tried to do a product change from an old AmTrust/FirstBankCard/FNBO card I only use 1x per year, to the Ducks Unlimited card for 5% on gas that I would use every other day. FNBO said it wasn't possible. Seems kinda silly why a creditor would have a rule/policy like that. Heck, on the FNBO website, you have to have the right zip code, or they won't even SHOW you what cards they have. lol "Conservative Midwest Banks" are the worst to deal with.
BOA premium card gives 2.65 percent on all purchases with 100k in assets
With 100.00 incidental airline fee credit and Global Entry credit
forgot the wells fargo propel card
Pentagon Federal Credit Union has a 5% cash back visa card on gas which I've used for years.
Good Video Me Shifu
I Use Amex Cash Preferred For Groceries 6% PNC Rewards For Gas 4% Uberblack For Restaurants 4% BOA Rewards For Warehouse Stores 2% Citi Double Cash For Everything Else
Not mentioning the Propel for Travel… what a sin.
Amex Blue card preferred also gets 6% cash back on US streaming services (Netflix, Sirius XM, Hulu, Spotify, etc).
I believe Uber Visa also offers 3% back on travel
What about online shopping ?
Shifu Recommendations-
Grocery- Amex BCP
Gas-Ducks Unlimited
Dining-Uber
Airfare- Schwab Platinum
Travel- Sapphire Reserve
5% Card- US Bank Cash+
General Spending-Alliant
My recs would be very different but.. I’m not a YouTube personality 💁🏻♂️
Wait! If I have the Amex Gold AND the Charles Schwab platinum, I can transfer my Amex GOLD points to my Schwab account at a 1.25 ratio!????
One category skipped was entertainment. I'd like to hear your opinion on that one. I hear the Marvel Card is perhaps the best, but maybe there are others?
Synovus Travel Rewards card returns 5% on travel, but there's a $50 AF.
I would argue Well fargo propel is best for 3x cash back in travel with no AF, Non Category, BOA Premium earns 2.6X if you have 100k
Credit Shifu I think it's called sporting good stores like Champs, Model's , Ramsey out door store, Foot locker, Foot action
sports stores are like Buddy's sports corner. it's not that kind of a store.
The Gold and platinum are travel cards!
I'm actually canceling my US bank card yes you get to choose your category's but it's selected so what good is 5% if the category's are to selective?
Not that the Capitol1 Venture1 is cash back card because it's not but just curious which is a better deal 1.25 miles no annual fee and 0 foreign trans action fee or 2.50 % cash back with a 99.00 annual fee and 0 foreign transaction fees?
So what would be the best all year round credit card with 0 annual fee for Supermarkets?
what would be the best for BJ's , Sam's and Costco ?
what would be the best gas cash back card 0 annual fee and a popular bank Not something from Omaha that only your viewers know but if you walked down a big city and asked 1,000 people best card for gas that most people heard of?
Uber card fine.
For air travel what is the best cash back card with 0 annual fee because the platinum is a travel card?
For general travel is there a good credit card that has 0 annual fee and is a cash back card because we all know the Sapphires are travel cards? any good cash back cards for general travel?
US Bank rotating category's fine.
Alliant right type of card but it has an annual fee what cash back card without an annual would be the best for general spending and general spending out of the country?
Thank you for recommending the Alliant Card it has been a game changer for me
Have every single one of those no annual fee cards (except for the Alient since I'm get 2.625% on the bank of America travel rewards card)
For general spending the B of A Premium Rewards will offer 2.62% if you have that same $100k with them. It has a $95 annual fee that can be offset with an airline travel credit and TSA precheck/ Global Entry.
A side note, for the Bank of America card bonus with having assets with them, it also counts if you have a 401k, Roth IRA, etc. with Merrill
4:57 been on that train 😏🏴
Thanks for the tip on the Ducks credit card, 5% cash back on gas! I also subscribed to your channel. Great info.
Arizona!!!! 🙂
I watch your videos a lot. Here are my views on couple of cards you mentioned.
1) To even out the Annual fee of Alliant credit card against Citi double cash, you need to spend 20K per year. So that means, if you spend more than 20K on general category each year then only it gives more value than citi double cash otherwise citi double cash wins.
to Meet 20k requirement you need to spend $1600+ per month on general category which sounds very high for most of the family. I have a family of 3 and I spend close to 800 to 900 per month.
This card is useful if you can pay your rent using credit card without interest. (If you are lucky to have such landlord or leasing company)
Does that Amex card (6%) covers Walmart and Target ? Because its very confusing with Supermarkets, Grocery stores, Super Stores, Whole Sale clubs etc. Its always confusing which stores belongs to which category. Most of them usually doesn't cover Walmart and Target where usually your majority spending's are.
Wells Fargo Propel – 3% cash on Travel (which includes Gas) no annual fee.
Everytime he said "all travel: planes, trains…" I really wanted him to finish with "automobiles"
Isn’t the Citi Prestige 5% on dining?
Sir this video is supposed to NOT HAVE ANY ANNUAL FEE CARDS.
Redo video!!!!
any cash back card that has annual fee is a fail in my book
Let’s talk about who sings the ending song.
Love your video! but how do I apply for the Uber Visa credit card? I have the uber app installed
but the offer is not poping up. Do i have to use uber a lot to get the offer?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge 😉
