The #Cromwell was the last major hotel to reopen on the Las #Vegas #Strip! This 188 room boutique hotel is owned by Caesars Entertainment and sits on the prime real estate at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Flamingo Road.
During this full casino tour, property tour and The Cromwell hotel review we’ll look at my room including the amazing Bellagio Fountain views day and night. I wasn’t as impressed with the rooms as I had thought, but have always enjoyed the casino.
I think you’ll enjoy The Cromwell’s history as Barbary Coast & Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Salloon plus all of the many changes that it has gone through along the way. Make sure to leave a comment and let me know what you love/hate about Barbary Coast/Bill’s/The Cromwell!

I love video me and mom in 2012 started to stay at Paris hotel but we didnt Come to Vegas it was her birthday month
Looks like Caesars did a fine job of renovation. However the building and floor/room layouts inherit the old Barbary Coast/earlier construction. For example, it still has the pigeon-hole birdcage wrought iron window views. Don’t come here if you want a view. However at least the red velvet laden boudoir are now at least balanced with some modern white lighter tones, and not feeling like Lilly Langtree designed the rooms. Don’t get the lowest level room floor — it’s directly above the garage so you will get cars racing through the garage all night.
Best club in vegas
This place looks pretty cool
That really is a spectacular view, even better than high up because you almost feel like part of the crowd below.
My sister Angela and I stayed in the flamingo the very first night it was re-opened. We stayed down town at the D Hotel for the first time we got in, then the second and third night were at flamingo! We saw this hotel directly in front of the flamingo, kind of, but have never been inside before so I really appreciate this video for those of us who don’t live anywhere near Las Vegas🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Closed for seven months and the white parking curbs out front were still black and scuffed up from tire marks. Do you think they could’ve put people to work paying attention to details like repainting curbs to make the “curb”appeal look attractive.
Thank god, no freakin kids
Amen
How were the beds? Pretty comfortable? I just booked a trip to this resort for July.
Gansevoort to Cromwell, seems like a name improvement to me.😆
Stayed when it was Barbary Coast. Best location on the Strip.
The last time I was in this building it was still Barbary Coast. I always enjoyed gambling here as the casino had a nice, cosy feel. Those chandeliers look like the same ones back in the B.C. days…which I thought were pretty awesome. I have never stayed there, and doubt I would as the rooms are pretty small. The location though is, in my opinion, the best on the strip, which is why I have stayed at Bally's. The rooms at Bally's are large, and reasonably priced, and if you have good legs, it is easy to walk to most of the casinos on the strip. It's ironic that The Cromwell is adults-only yet Giada allows kids. I am going to watch your Bally's casino and room tour next! Thanks for the awesome video, Shawn!
Had a strange experience in Cromwell in 2016 where we walked in, went to the bar and they refused to serve us. It was mid/late afternoon probably a Sunday so not sure why they took umbrage. Didn't set foot in there until 3 years later!
Thank you for this review, now I know my way around. The wife and I are staying there and having dinner at Giada's this weekend.
Rooms look like a brothel. Giada’s is amazing. Was hoping to see the pool area.
O'Sheas was BETTER!!!
I stayed there (April 2008) when it was Bill's Gamblin' Hall. Nice thing about it is the easy access to the Strip.
I love that it’s an adults only facility. I wish all of the Strip and Fremont were adults only. There should be a place in the world that is “Disney for adults” and this seems like the greatest city for such a thing.
I just cancelled my reservations at The Delano to stay at The Cromwell. I have never stayed there before, but it is one of my favorite casinos. Talk about a dirty room – The Delano. I stayed at The Paris last month- rooms are tired and beat up. But I slept great there. I am concerned about a comfy bed and pillows, a great shower and hopefully doors that that don't slam shut.
compact, but good mood and comfortable.
casino is too. all dealers and cocktail ladies are kind.
underrated hotel in Vegas!
Nice and informative video, I booked a stay here for next year for a few reasons. 1: The location is excellent. 2: Adults only, no screaming kids. 3: It's a smaller hotel so getting in and out is quick and easy, which is great for me because I like to spend my time in Vegas seeing all the places on the strip.
very much ghost town at night there. not popular place at all. see nothing to do there.
