Hey Brian! I'm trying to help my eldest son build his credit & not make all the mistakes I made in the beginning of my credit journey ðĪĶââïļ! So my question is.. does he have a good chance of getting approved for the Citi X1 card with a 628 credit score?
I wanted to know for a person who travel internationally at least 1 @ year would you recommend the Sapphire preferred or another chase card to get the most travel points with.

Question: If we shouldnt be charged interest, why does the Chase card only have 0% interest for the first 15 months?? Wont' there be interest after those 15 months?
Why are these credit cards encouraging you to use them so much when high utilization negatively affects your credit score? It's not like you're going to get a high credit limit if you're just starting out or rebuilding credit.

I honestly think amex only gets good once you start paying an annual fee. The free ones aren't too good.
I took out a student loan a while back and I was gonna cash in with my chase bank but I wasnât allowed because they thought it was fraud so Iâm not allowed to open a bank with them again ð but I will definitely try the others

He's right about the American Express card. I applied for it 5 years ago when I was a credit noob. Chase is much harder to get approved for.
