3:22 Citi does make gift cards go on sale, resulting in at least 10% off, but that still isn’t the most efficient use of points. I like gift cards as a redemption option due to the infrequency of the right kind of travel in my life and the fact that, well, I give gifts.

Man we signed up for the Bonvoy card with the 3 nights/for $3000.
A few weeks later the 5 nights bonus drops. Called and no opportunity to swap bonuses. BUMMER
Great video Ben! while this might not be an option for everyone, Amex Business Gold has a targeted referal offer of 130K points (public offer is 70K) which is legendary! Not sure when this one is going to end but I reckon soon.
Citi Premier 80K offer is extremely hard to get approved for! Seen a lot of people with 800+ scores, great income, low expenses get DENIED for this card. Even a few finance YT got declined for this card. The reasons Citi gave them was "low utilization" which is rubbish in my opinion lol. So if you are a current Citi customer, only apply for this card if you are regularly using your other Citi cards. Its highly likely that Citi will deny you this card if they think you are there just for the bonus .
What would be best for everyday spend? I am in between cards/bonuses…

Great info. I just applied for the AA Citi Card and got approved. This is the 2nd bonus from this card the first one was in 2017. I was surprised that I got a 19.49% APR with an 815 credit score. Maybe due to low utilization on their other credit cards. Anyway thanks for the heads up.
