All I need is Southwest for domestic travel. I get great deals out of Houston. For International flights, I fly free so I don't need points for that.

Chase has a lot riding on United and Hyatt, hoping nothing changes with the latter. While I would LOVE to see Hyatt join Amex, we're all probably better off with the competition. I agree about Hyatt devaluation, made more sense against SPG.

I'm on a cruise right now, Vancouver to San Diego.
1. Amex Platinum, for $100 – $300 bonus per cruise. Recent promo was 5X on cruises booked directly with Amex, + standard travel agent incentives.
2. CSR or BoA Premium for trip insurance (though medical is limited, especially evac)
3. BoA Cash Rewards for online purchases, including tours and shipboard extras.

I like Chase but HATE United. I used all of my miles & stopped flying United (Greyhound bus of the sky) several years ago due to their declining service. I even closed my Chase United Card because of the airline’s steady decline. You shouldn’t be surprised about United’s manipulation of the award miles program. What do you expect from an airline that sells tickets to customers & then drags them off of an airplane when they have overbooked & can’t provide the service they have already sold?

I'm digging the streamed long format into videos lately! You should turn these into podcasts – I could even be your co-host! 😛

Lifemiles is a really good alternative to Mileageplus. Better version of Mileageplus.

Yeah, I won’t fly United and Chase is too hormonal for me. I pay attention, though, because they all will try to cut costs.

like your channel so much you know there is one detail question no so far clear it out that is about this card ,certain destination you go to on the united website shows u will get 1st and 2nd (let s use the japan as example)check bag since you got the fly to japan but for the explorer card it does come with one check bag for free . so if i am going to japan and i have 3 baggages is that mean 2+1 i will get all these checked bags free ?
