Episode Description

This week #Universal Parks and Resorts made a big splash when they announced an expansion into Las #Vegas. Their new experience will be part of the popular Area15 entertainment district and will feature haunted attractions year round. This is part of an expansion to Area15 that will overtake the old Scandia site just north of the existing property.

In other #news I finally got to check out the MGM to Hard Rock status match. Find out how to get your free $100 if you are MGM Gold and how the volcano looks today. Plus we also talk about Caesars Palace getting robbed, Binion’s flooding, how to see the Nevada state parks for free and Sands is looking to build a new casino on Long Island.

Sizing comparisons are funny considering 51 Disneyland's would fit inside Disney World!

i really dont feel sorry for las vegas for the rain. we are getting CRUSHED here in san francisco.. theres a sinkhole in the only highway that i take to work on the coast, i have to take a 30 minute detour to get to my restaurant. i know, first world problems..
speaking of first world problems, we could have Criss Angel have a residency at the new horror venue; would be a captive audience for sure…

The guitar hotel is bad taste pop art! I think that it will definitely cheapen the strip view! Certainly not a fan!

I'm having a hard time understanding why exactly the entertainment industry needs ticket brokers at all.

Have a great weekend guys. Next time I'm in Vegas I'm going to check out the volcano at the Mirage because of you guys.

Cost to build in Vegas, 4 billion, 3.5 billion for the Politician's and MoB. I guess 500 million actually spent on the building is alot.

They didn't bother emptying the filled up garbage cans likely because the casinos are deliberately understaffed (my opinion not stating a fact) – nobody to do that and/or they're busy doing something else. Makes "executives" look good (and or meet bonus incentives on their employment contracts). Same reason housekeeping staff are also understaffed by design far more than 'not being able to find people to do the work'. Again, my opinion.

Cause Adele is so over priced. Love how these casinos are flooding and keep charging us fees after fees. What are they using this money for. How can multi billion casinos flood lol

Building a casino in NYC near long island is a no brainer. Resorts World at aqueduct which is a horrible location, is seen as the highest grossing casino in the USA if not the world. NYC is a market ready to explode.

A permanent horror nights sounds cool but what about a great movie ride as well people pay 20 to ride the nyc coaster which lasts 40 seconds they would probably pay similar for a longer experience and meeting kong and the delorean especially in vegas.

Do you have to redeem the $100 food or $57 in freeplay on the day that you do the match? My match journey was starting with Golden Entertainment (Strat, AZC, etc) Epic which got me Caesar's Diamond which got me MGM Gold.

Binions casino flooding should now force them to do some major remodeling and or renovation in that casino. I enjoy the fact that it's and old original but it could use some updating also. Adele should do what most high end popular artist do and buy blocks of tickets herself and release them a day or two before show date and limit the number to be purchased. Venetian and Palazzo I believe are the way they are because Sheldon Adelson was a hands on type person and I believe had alot to do with every part of the Casinos and the business. As did Steve Wynn. I don't think you will see the same in the Sands corporation today. The 🌋 Volcano at the Mirage is beautiful and now will be historic as all else in Las Vegas. As for all things in las vegas they say this place is forever reinventing itself. Very Interesting times in Las Vegas.

I think a casino on Long Island is a good idea. Casinos are so large that I don't see how it can harm a neighborhood. Chances are it will take an entire street. No one cares about Belmont being in a neighborhood. So so tired of always having someone bitch about something. It seems like a minority of people make life awful for the majority. Are there no building codes in Las Vegas for casinos? Why are casinos flooding and not houses?

The rain almost the same for California buildings with the flooding. If I was a performer I would care if ppl showed up to my SOLD OUT concert. The seats are bought, I did my part. Got excited for universal but it's just a scary park coming, thumbs down for that. Been to Vegas 100 times and never seen the Volcano so I'll watch the show in February before it's gone or not operating
