We also discuss the fire that happened at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and how Caesars Entertainment is once again raising #resortfees at some of their properties. Are they tone deaf? Plus Fontainebleau Las Vegas has sold and Resorts World has a rumored opening date. Virgin Hotels also announced their opening date. So much to discuss! Great news …. Great content …. about Las Vegas … Thanks
Honestly feeling insulted anymore playing at any property these days. Seriously even living here anymore if i were to play, would either head to Laughlin or San Diego.
I've noticed a real decline in customer service at all properties since the shutdown and a bunch of divaish/entitled attitudes anymore. Really makes it not worth it if i was a tourist coming here
Everybody hates resort fees but they still pay it. This is strictly business. They are only charging what their customers are showing they are willing to pay. When customers say “enough is enough”, then you will see the casinos back off from resort fees. As for me, I will only stay at 4 queens because they have no resort fee. I would rather pay $100/night “real price” than pay $50/ night “fake price” + $30 resort fee.
Great stuff as always boys!
Soooooo, three people on the balcony….Four more in the area. Forty six show up at the emergency room! That reminds me of a Boston bus accident😱. Nine on the bus….Ninety show up at Mass General! In the words of comedian Yakov Smirnov…..”What a country!).
Screw Caesar’s! A-holes. Never stay at their properties.
#BoycottCaesars
I've stayed at Cesar's and they never never offered me anything MGM on the other hand gives me free rooms free play and free food and more often then not they comp my resort fees for a couple hundred bucks a day of coin in
WOW, Caesar's Ent. has lost their ever lovin minds. I really want to see Virgin because HRH had just completed renovations with a new gift shop added, so I'm interested in seeing how much they changed. I know i dont like the decor that I've been seeing. And yes Mark, that pool area was beautiful. We always got a room over lokking it. Thank u guys for all of the updates.
Man I hate the Vegas nickel and dime you now. At first I didn’t care about resort fees. But once I booked a comp stay and still had to pay I was like what?! I am glad I am Diamond now with Caesers and not paying resort fees has saved me so much money. All because of FoundersCard! Plus, the drink service was very delay while I was playing so I just went to Ellis island instead since they have better dealers and better service.
I get why they are doing. I’m balls deep in with mgm but I do spend a few $(500)at czr every trip. Currently have 3 night comps at numerous czr hotels. Just got to pay the RF.
Mgm overall is a better value.
VEGAS never learns!!! I am a Vegas resident of almost 10 years and Vegas is losing millions of dollars due to Covid-19 and this is not going to help the tourism industry!!!! DISGRACEFUL!!!
Resort fees are telling me, 'STAY AWAY!' So far, I have.
My local casino's are Caesar's properties. When I travel to Las Vegas, usually 2-3 times a year, I always stay at Caesar's palace. Never had a issue. Would I like to have rooms comped at a MGM property? Yes! I did the tier match last year, played at one of their casinos, for hours and even had a hand pay. My offer received, 25% off room rate . No thanks MGM.
Here's my theory on Vegas resort fees. Resort fees guarantee the casino a profit on the room. Many people visit Vegas on cheap packages or even have the room comped thru slot club promos. A resort fee makes those "free" rooms profitable. There is no way the casino could apply the resort fee to only the low cost or comped rooms, so it is applied to all stays. My theory doesn't work for other destinations. But either way, I do think resort fees should be illegal, everywhere. I agree that the casinos have not learned any lessons from the pandemic. Vegas visitors are way off from 2019, one would think that the casinos would make it more attractive to visit. But on the other hand, there is no such thing as a free lunch….
Vegas "recovery"? Some are saying 2024.
Thanks Shawn & Mark!!
You should be more concerned that one person has this much power. The king tells you what can open and when, bull shit. Everything should be open, period. If you're afraid, keep your ass at home.
Hi Guys! Shawn; as I previously stated, I agree on the MGM Resorts properties compared to Caesars properties. MLife membership is the best! Which I strongly feel embodies the customer service you receive from not only their on-site staff, but also all of the Customer Service Reps I speak with on the telephone when I have a request for an upcoming reservation. Everyone is personable, and makes sure that they have taken care of my questions. On the flip side; Caesars Palace represents original Vegas! Iconic. You may love the Fountains at Bellagio, but when you arrive at Caesars, you KNOW you are in Vegas, Baby! CAB 😎
If the resorts in Vegas can't get rid of the "fees" Just boycott those that choose to screw the visitor!
Vegas resort fees increase Lolololol
We are 7 stars and the offers keep going downhill. We are thinking of moving to MGM. We just have a harrahs close to us so that is what makes sense. However we also really like M Resorts
Hello. Thanks for the video. First time I’ve seen your channel. I’m not a slots player. Do the references I see here to “hand pay” refer to a pay out from a slot machine that is so large that they have to come pay you in person instead of giving you a printed voucher/payout slip?
Both my wife and I are regular gold Caesars reward holders and everytime we go to Vegas (about once a year), we always stay at a Caesars owned property. Always comped rooms. Just pay resort fees. We booked our April trip and decided to book Cosmopolitan. I would now rather pay more for my room and stay at a luxury property with a better staff. Our stay last July at Flamingo was horrible. I've always been a Caesars Reward loyalist as well but their properties don't feel like a go to destination anymore.
Dude I’m at the Delano right now. ‘Scenic Suite’ definitely not on Vdara level but still nice enough. It’s a great time to be here. Had tx to copperfield but he canceled all February shows so on to Extravaganza
Caesars Resort Fee: It's a reverse bribe. They are motivating me to stay elsewhere. That's just fine with me.
resort fees more then some room prices. crazy
The reason they are increasing fees right now is because the only people visiting Vegas, amidst a pandemic, are degenerate gamblers. And the casinos know they will pay the fee. The casinos know what they are doing.
That’s a great way to bring customers back. I gave up on Las Vegas after 25 years of going ever year. No thanks. Too many better options no use flying across the country.
Resort fee and parking fee are the reason to stop me to go to Vegas. Local casinos are everywhere near home and and they have free dinner for minimum bet $50.
One year I was in Vegas there was a fire in the still being built Stratosphere and after all the fuss and breaking news it was a pizza box or something like that.
No pool? No gym? (not that many use BOTH of those amenities). Bean counters: Raise resort fees because…well, "reasons".
This is something I never understood in the States. Here in Europe it would be illegal to display the prices without fees and taxes. Nobody would even think about it. What you see is what you get and need to pay.
