The Venetian is one of my favorite hotels in Las Vegas that I would like to visit (besides the Wynn, Resorts World and Bellagio). It's gonna be very bittersweet seeing the Mirage hotel going away, I read the article about Siegfried and Roy in the Atlantic and there's gonna be a movie about the magicians directed by Michael Herbig even Michael Jackson wrote a song for their show called "Mind is the Magic" when they performed at the New Frontier in the 80's.
This is like Vegas new with dad jokes lmao … like if I hear another Chris angel joke lmao I’m doneskii
I’m from Tampa, so I cannot wait for the hard rock to open in Vegas but something for you guys to think about, the hard rock hasn’t been able to get a property on the Las Vegas strip for as long as they’ve been a brand because MGM and Caesars have held that a monopoly. about a year ago, here in Florida the hard rock sports book app opened legally and operated for a couple months until they shut down. Right after the hard rock sports book that shut down the announcement of the Hard Rock, going to Vegas was announced. There’s clearly some type of deal going on with MGM and Caesars and letting the hard rock get into the sports betting industry. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Shout out jets pizza
Those ATM pizzas looks nasty, I'll pass, there are other food options in Vegas. I haven't set a foot inside the Venetian or Palazzo in almost 10 years. Glad to know they're going to renovate the property. Congrats on reaching 30K subscribers!
30K! My uncle was a 1/2 big roller and we saw Sig and Roy back when, and when the appeared in the crowd it was on our booth of seats. Great show. Mirage was always a great property, although there is NO reason anywhere for dolphins to be in a tank.
Las Vegas' Strip mega-casinos are now pretty much all owned by private equity funds. The big casinos, like the Venetian, are just trophy properties designed to avoid taxes, own land and hoover up tourists' money with high prices for everything from parking charges to overpriced buffets to expensive show tickets. Interlocking entities like Apollo Global Management and Vici Properties work together to fleece the gambling tourists. Vici Properties owns a total of 660 acres of land on the Strip, over a square mile of land. When private equity takes over a business, prices go up. Literally, in the space of five years, Las Vegas has been turned into overpriced crap with the exception of some individual casinos like Ellis Island.
Wikipedia: "Vici Properties Inc. is a real estate investment trust (REIT) specializing in casino properties, based in New York City. It was formed in 2017 as a spin-off from Caesars Entertainment Corporation as part of its bankruptcy reorganization. It owns 44 casinos, hotels, and racetracks and 4 golf courses throughout the United States."
Just to clarify (Vegas box office agent here)… Mindfreak never closed. These two shows were running simultaneously. Angel was never supposed to be IN Amystika. It was supposed to be a standalone… Cirque style show. He started appearing IN the show to help sell tickets when it first opened, and then transitioned out of it. Of course audiences expected him to be in it. I can only imagine that sales were low, and that it was losing money because it had a large cast.
The show was heavy on story and Dragone-style spectacle… and the magic tricks (performed my a cast of very talented magicians and variety performers) were few and far between. It was a well done show, but it just didn't make sense. I'm sure it will make more money on tour.
600 Criss Angel shows!! HAHA!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Keep up the great work guys!!
I'm staying at Mirage next month. It will be interesting to see what the mood of the employees is
Why don’t these big company owned casinos start spending money on security and safety? How about some social responsibility? Start feeding the homeless and housing them with all this excess money.👍
As soon as I heard the Criss Angel news a few days ago, I immediately thought of you guys. LOL
Congratulations for getting to 30K subscribers!👏🏽 Giving updates twice a week was a good move…more exposure. Thanks for the updates guys😊
Great video guys!
We've stayed on the Palazzo side many times, and don't think it needs as much renovation as the Venetian side. In fact, the Palazzo casino was only just renovated about two-three years ago.
Holy moly!…1 Billion renovation
The Buddy V pizza joint in the front of Harrah's is very good.
the pizza ATM serves the same crap you can find in any Cake boss store, the most incredible is the price, 11$ for a slice of pizza.
I saw a comment on some blog that touted this new "rock paper scissors" game. I thought it was a joke.
Congrats on 30k subs
We never got to see S & R because it was always the most expensive show and almost always sold out way in advance. Of course, we always believed that we'd see it, one day, as it seemed like it would go on forever. I suppose the lesson is that, if you want to see a particular show, go see it ASAP, as the performer -or you – might be mistaken for "lunch" by a big tiger with big teeth.
Keep the Cris angel slander, love it!
Congratulations ❣️
Sparty wins on Saturday, so Mark wear his merch.
I absolutely love the Chris angel jokes.. whenever he comes up.. it triggers me to like the video.. 😂
