Episode Description

After purchasing the #Riviera and demolishing it to make way for an expansion of the Las #Vegas Convention Center, the LVCVA has been trying to sell the Strip front parcel for several years. Last year their buyer backed out, but another group is coming in to purchase the former Riviera land. They are familiar with Las Vegas and already own other properties on the Strip.

In other #news David Blaine injured himself during his recent show at his residency in Resorts World. Doctors came up to rescue him, but it turns out this isn’t his first injury during this run. We also discuss another Guy Fieri restaurant coming to Caesars, sexy new F1 and Sphere renderings, the Mint 400, a secret Cosmo entrance that can save you money and how the Venetian gondolas are actually powered.

I stayed at The Jockey Club Last October. The little elevator area was super convenient, but very hard to find. Had to remember to look for Clique When staying at JC you use the ride share pick-up at Cosmo, now that was perfect. It was super close to walk to from there. Also, love this channel guys! My best friend of over 30 years lives in Vegas, and I've used what I learned here to plan my last trip.

The leprechauns for St Patrick’s day aren’t real and now I find out the Venetian gondolas are powered by electricity….these revelations are just too much lol . Speaking of off road adventures in the desert 🌵..I think a great vlog would be you guys live streaming trying to find Area 51. Just kidding …well maybe . Seriously though great info as always gentlemen. You both are hilarious and so fun to watch 😎😎😎

Parents used to take us to the El Rancho and we’d go to CC by ourselves. El Rancho waitresses would let us charge our meals to our room as kids. Oh, the old days.

“Somehow, there was an orthopedic convention going on in town,” Blaine said. This was the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, which closed Saturday. “My doctor said, ‘Thank God they did that, because if you would have done the show and not popped it in, then it would be a nightmare to pop it back later.’”

I really don’t like all these rapid changes in Vegas, they’re getting way too carried away. They’re trying to make it so futuristic and I just miss the old Vegas circa 2008 before everything got all crazy expensive. The whole world feels so strange and different than it used to and I don’t like any of it. I used to have the best time shootin tha shit and being playful with folks at the blackjack table but you can’t do that anymore. If you try to make jokes or be silly, people don’t even know how to respond to it. I feel like the social media and the tech addiction is robbing us of our social skills and ability to connect with other humans. Not to mention the contentious political climate. This country just feels so different than the America I grew up in. I would give anything to have a time machine and go back. I don’t want to assimilate with the borg and I don’t want wi-fi in my underwear to connect my ass to the internet or send an alert to my phone to let me know if I farted. I feel like that’s where we are heading.

Might try Chicken Guy, but probably not. There's SO much better to sample on the strip!! The Riviera was the very first hotel I stayed at in Las Vegas. Sad to see it turn into the red-headed step child of the Convention Center. Oh well, I still LOVE Las Vegas!!

Women wear heels because it makes our legs look longer and it makes us look like we lost 10 lbs instantly. You can take a frumpy broad, put her in a pair of heels and suddenly she feels like Heidi Klum. This is also why you’ll never see strippers wearing flats. You just don’t turn as many heads if you aren’t wearing heels. Basically, we are just vain, insecure and we all wish we were prettier than we are because we live in a superficial society where beautiful people get treated better. 😂

How come Chicken Guy isn't covered in tattoos? Just askin'. Also, see David Blaine if you get a chance–the guy is nuts. He stuck an ice pick through his forearm when I saw him (the ice pick is on the back of my t-shirt so I guess it's his calling card) and pulled an engagement ring belonging to an audience member up from his stomach with, if I remember correctly, a wire hanger. Oh, and U2 puts on an amazingly technical show wherever they play, so they may not be the proof of concept; bring in a Taylor Swift or Beyonce or Harry Styles and run amok around them–then we'll know if the place will dazzle.

I've tried Chicken Guy. It's NOT the best. The sauces are Meh at best. It's the most bland tasting "ranch" I've ever had in my life. I've never really had a good experience at Any celebrity restaurants..except for Gordan Ramsey Pub & Grill. That's literally the only one.

My girlfriend and I took an outdoor gondola ride last year when we were in Vegas, and our gondolier told us that certain parts of the water outside are actually 12 to 13 feet deep. He also let us know that they average 3 to 4 people a year that jump into the water.

With the ridiculous High number of Publicworks and road construction projects being done in all areas Las Vegas I wouldn't be one little bit surprised if everything is not completed in time for the inaugural F1. no one will be surprised if there will be obvious defects or problems with the first time layout of this course and yes thank God I'm a local who never goes to the strip and usually avoids this area at all cost nor would I pay the 500 to $1,000 per ticket to watch 50 laps($20 per lap) of cars zooming by me for 1-2 seconds with literally no action no passing and whoever wins the pole usually wins the race I'm still blown away at the popularity of F1 which is in my opinion the most boring race to watch on the entire planet. At least in NASCAR I get 200 to 400 laps of racing with passing on every lap with more action and more cars at a cost of about$0. 25 to $0.50 per lap. Never ceases to amaze me at the amount money fools will spend on events in this city as well as the huge amount of money taxpayers will lose just to put this event on just in construction costs. As a local I'll be avoiding these areas during this event. I can just see the mentality of people going to this event and telling all their friends how cool it is and then when they get their credit card bills for the $5,000 ($100 per lap LOL)they spent for the weekend and telling themselves Man was I a fool!!😂😥😥🙊🙉🙈
