What issues should you expect at a brand new hotel on opening day?

We stayed there for 2 nights on opening weekend. We actually liked our double queen room but there were definitely hiccups – like the toilet paper holder didn't work so we had to sit the toilet paper on the counter. There were no prices for the in-room bar or snacks (I hear they are normal "street" prices and not marked up like everywhere else). Our room controls worked and I loved that there were lots of USB ports and plugs everywhere. Also we actually liked the bed & pillows. The pillows are new so yep, they're like balloons but we didn't mind them much. Of course, we were drunk 70% of the time. Restaurants were great too. ONE Steakhouse is just awesome. I'll post a video up on YouTube of a smoked scotch whiskey drink I ordered there. Casa Calavera was good, not spectacular but really cool inside and Pizza Forte was near Cosmo's "Secret Pizza" level. Gambling was fun too. Server attended us several times. I liked it here but we are Palms Place/Vdara type of people so we like hotels that are not bombarded with guests. Cosmo was INSANE this past week.
Upgrade to a suite : SWEET! Did you ask to be moved? I was looking for a tour of the room……will watch another video, I guess. The sensationalist headline was misleading . " SCARY thing that HAPPENED at Night! "
