In this video we are going to look at what I spend in a week in New York. We don’t live in NYC anymore, but still close by. I was inspired by Graham Stephan, Nate O’Brien, Erik Conover and Shelby Church to make this.

I made a what I spend in a week a week after I spent 8 dollars. 😂 ($6.00 was a twitch donation.)

That’s gotta be a record.

Great video. What I noticed during quarantine is that I spent less on take out food; also my spending somehow decreased, which allowed me to purchase items I might have passed on before quarantine. Overall, great job. My one unusual expense was for Uber. My family suggested that I move to their house while they rode out the quarantine in Florida. Thus my Uber costs trebled. Now that I have returned home (all safe and well) they have returned to normal. Keep up the good work.

Pro tip: if you leave the WiFi on your device, your Google Fi bill will be much lower. I never see my bill past $30 per month since I have WiFi at home and at work. That's how I've kept the price low whole using Google Fi. Amazing service.

To maximize your phone bill you should use your FREEDOM Unlimited card if you have it then you would get 1.5 points

Hmmm what if you made a video tracking down how much points, miles and cashback you make on expenses in a week?

I don't quit understand what's the point of using a hotel card to pay for stuff even though the points won't expire as long as your account open but still. because of what's going on who knows what the points will be worth, are they going to devalue them? or what so I think it is just not a good Idea to use any hotel card

I spend $352 per week including everything. Mortgage paid off, and no other debt. Use credit cards for virtually all expenses which I pay off monthly. I seriously can reduce this a little.

Great stuff, any chance you could make some videos on issues related to children, for example weighing options for what kinds of accounts to invest in for them? Most YouTube finance I see is from people without young kids so I'd really appreciate some content from you from that angle. Thanks!

I like how everyone has “unusual expenses” in these videos. I feel like the “what I spend in a week” videos are such a poor snapshot of what people actually spend. If people actually wanted to be open then they would show a whole month. The whole thing is just stupid. (Not hating on you, just hating on the fad)

Hi Credit Shifu, My name is Ben, from Queens, NYC. Great channel, I have followed your videos for 3 years and learned a lot. Thanks a lot ! By the way, I was listening to the Video Outro song and wanted to download it But I think this outro song is NOT " Runaway (Heuse Remix), so I do appreciate if you or your team can fix the discription and tell us the amended outro song name. Stay safe 😉👍

Well this past week I needed to go to my dentist for a tooth problem. I was then sent to my oral surgeon to remove said tooth. Then I will need to return to my oral surgeon for an implant. Then I will go back to my dentist for a crown. Hopefully I might get out for around $5000 for the tooth.
Other than that I spent around $300 for the week.
So…..how am i doin'?

There really is so much content on trying to spend as little as possible. Maybe it's a UK 🇬🇧 thing, but I'd also rather focus on earning more, so I could buy what I'd really like, rather than scrimping.

Wow, spending money to support right wing conspiracy theorists’ videos. Interesting.

And he’s getting healthcare through Obamacare. In another video he complains Obama never gave him anything. Smh. More and more political biases showing.

Daycare expense is unreal when some people work at a low wage just to pay for childcare, my sister went through that in the past. Like you, I'm working on some projects around the property and not sitting around being lazy [LOL].
