You should also do a worst one for fun. Like a secured card with no rewards that charges interest the day you buy or has an annual fee and with bonus points if it also cancels your card for no reason killing your credit score and running off with your secured deposit.

Yeah as much as I won't touch a capital one card, VentureX

The 5% gas or grocery for 1 yr with Freedom Flex is great in quarters the rotating category overlaps. Getting 9% that quarter is great. Plus the $200 bonus

Chase/Amex need to revamp their multipliers to compete with Capital One.

I have the C1 Venture X card. I got it the same day it came out back in November 10, 2021. Main reason for me to get this card is for the Capital One Lounge at Dulles airport (IAD). To my disappointment, is still not open yet. Then last month they removed the PP restaurants. I honestly don’t put any spent on this card, mainly because of the “Not too good” travel transfer partners. Still, It will always be in my wallet. Oh, one positive news is that C1 will be opening a restaurant in my second home airport (DCA). Anyway, Happy Friday,. Party start at 3pm today for me 🍻.

Priority Pass restaurant access was the only quality benefit of the Venture X. Why pay a $395 fee to get horrible Capital One service when you can get the same 2X rewards from other cards with no annual fee.

Best overall cards of 2022…1st = CSP at 80/100K. 2nd = AMEX Gold at 90K. 3rd = Venture X at the 75K offer. Honorable mention to Citi Custom Cash because it really did shake up the card landscape. Look at that, 1 from each of the big four issuers!

This time, I do not agree with you, I think capital one is an amateur bank and credit cards, and pathetically tries to mimic Amex or Chase, I still like you videos😅;)

Isn’t that $445 per quarter, not year on the Shopper Cash Rewards?

Since I don't have a lot of spend a year my favorite has to be the Hilton Aspire card.

Ben, I think there could be an argument Bilt CC should be in your list.

Is there another card that you can get 3% on wholesale clubs with? That might be a sleeper reason to get that US Bank card.

The Venture X has really taken the credit card market by storm. It's definitely a card I have my eye on for 2023. I just hope they don't continue to lower the benefits on it or raise the annual fee. Although I'm sure they will happen at some point, it's in a really special spot right now. Great list Ben!

I would have included the Autograph card. 3% in 6 categories, cellphone protection and no AF. Seems everyone on YouTube pretends this card doesn’t exist.

How does kudos make its money if it’s free? I’m always skeptical giving sensitive information to something that completely free.

Most rich people stay rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping then most poor people stay poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich but impressing them,

Love the choices Ben! Definitely agree with the Venture X at the top of the list. My wife got the card this year.

If the Bilt rewards card had a welcome bonus I think it could make this list as well.

Im a millionaire and a day in my life is very bum-like. I am so frugal that i live cheaper than someone in poverty. I once withdrew $1 million dollars and stuffed a pillow and used it for sleeping. I dreamt live a millionaire.

Hey Ben I really appreciate your videos!
Very informative and you are pleasant to listen to.

I have a request!
How about a video on credit card Universal Default Interest Rate.
In other words, current credit cards that have as part of their agreement that if you have any issues with a non-affiliated bank or lending institution, that they can automatically raise your APR to a universal default level.

It would be good to know if any of the major Banks do that with their cards and which ones they are, and have a spectrum of the cards that don't it down to the cards that do.

The Universal Default clause is one of the things that really gets people into serious trouble. You could have one brain fart and miss one payment, and it could screw you over very well with ANY accounts that have Universal Default written into their agreement.
Thank you Ben.
