I come to this channel for credit related topics only. I don't care about star trek, star wars or whatever star it is, but am looking to learn something that will help me gain knowledge regarding credit. So if you put a video showing someone taking a trip, a flight or hotel room, or some sci fi movies, I will skip it. But some others like to watch those types of videos. You are the creator of your channel, put whatever content you want to. Not everyone cares about credit, so you will still get views on every video you post. You cannot expect everyone to like sci fi, credit, travel, and crypto/bitcoin. Shouldn't feel let down when we all don't watch every video all the way through. That doesn't mean you aren't helping to change lives positively. You are helping some, entertaining others. Keep putting out videos. Those of us who are your subscribers will still watch whatever videos we like and the ones that we don't, we will skip.
There is some base information to know about how credit card points work. After that it is diminishing returns and more or less entertainment. This is how I see most of credit card related content.
I like to watch informational videos at at least 1.5x speed, but your accent makes it hard to understand you!
The credit card videos can start to become a little repetitive. I prefer shorter videos focusing on the newest information.
YouTube frustrates me. I should see more credit card videos suggested for me, but often I have to look for them, even though I'm subscribed to multiple channels. It seems YouTube wants me watching certain content…perhaps those are the channels making them the most money.
There is someone replying with your photo that I already reported to YT!
Your content helps the most in pointing out the fine prints in between the lines that most readers don't noticed at first while you've broken down the terms and conditions with so much comprehensiveness for all.
Thank you for your dedication 🙏
People loves to see you sit and talk credit cards 💳 😂💦
A lot of the videos you referenced I just wasn’t very interested in. I put all my sub videos in watch later, but if they sit there for like a week I just clear it out. I watch YouTube like 1-2 hours a day so if it didn’t make the cut it never will I figure.
We got him boys!
Information only for me.
Kinda gives me a Jake Tran vibe. 🙂
You could be right about the algorithm but pivoting can be done. Sasha Yanshin from the uk started with credit card vids first but successfully transitioned to general finance and investing. Take a look and maybe you can emulate his framework
Dont matter where you sit on a chair or on your bedroom with messy hair(yes i watch that video, multiple time🤫 ), its the relevant of the info, the how to book is the need to know.
Subscribed! Very interesting and informative your new channel! Good luck!
Subscribed to dirty money. I enjoy your videos! Keep it up!
Well to be honest most of your content is high end hotels and credit cards. Most of your subscribers are probably never going to get or it just makes no sense. If this was my channel I would balance content like low or mid tier cards, Sofi credit card ,credit unions etc. If I was a new sub & did a quick scroll down I would of think this is a Amex/Chase channel as well which looks like you’re only targeting one specific crowd. Regardless this is your channel and you’re definitely growing ,maybe not as fast as you want it to be but you have definitely changed lives, helped people seek decent financial advice (advice that they don’t teach us at school) & motivation to go forward in life.
This is why Simon Whistler has 1,024 channels.
For what it's worth, I love your videos where you show the hotels and the trips you take! It helps excite me about travel and gives me ideas for places I could go. I've realized I enjoy this hobby for 2 reasons: 1. Because it appeals to my desire to optimize things and extract the most value from a given input, and 2. Because I love traveling and this helps me do it more often and have more special travel experiences when I do. Your credit card info videos are really valuable as well, but honestly I think some of my favorite videos from both you and Sebby are ones that show the actual travel experiences. It would be too bad to see those videos stop but I understand you wanting to ensure you're putting out the content that appeals to most of your audience.
So you don't know your audience or what works??? 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, I watch your videos at 2.0-2.5x playback. I was there since the beginning of your channel. I feel like it went through ups and downs. I lost interest, gained interest, lost interest, etc. I unsubscribed and just occasionally check you and sebby for credit card info.
I think this is part of a larger problem. I'm subscribed to tons of channels, ones I'm genuinely interested in, only to mindlessly watch some videos if I feel like it. There's definitely a sense of emptiness and overwhelming that comes with regularly viewing similar content. I'm a huge credit card nerd as well but I'm noticing that the more finance content I view, the less I'm interested in finance.
Being surrounded by content and creators having to continuously adjust to changing algorithms is getting exhausting for everyone I feel like.
Best of luck on your new channel, I'll be subscribing and staying subbed to this one as well 🙂
Maybe Ben wants us to unsubscribe to improve the click through rate. 🤷🏻♀️
First ever video where I have heard someone beg to NOT subscribe. Wp. Gonna subscribe 😀
🔥🔥🔥 Love your honesty on this video. I think those of us that do Navy Federal videos can relate to this lol
You're correct in the sense that as the target audience viewer for credit card information, I much prefer just getting to the point and the information I need. I will even just scrub through the entertainment pieces to get to what it was I really came to this channel for.
I recommend less click bait videos (you probably got Graham Stephen to encourage that). And a hair cut.
Bruh you're exactly right. Your information is why i watch. I. One of those people who watched the video of you telling us how to get the hotel over seeing what the actual hotel looks like. But man that's just why you're so good at what you do
I'm down for the new channel
One of the reasons I come to this channel every week without fail is to find out if there is any new information on credit cards or Points/Milage game I need to know about. Several YouTubers do this but reason yours is my go to is because its normally the first to put content out and there is no BS. I think most of us are also like you interested in points because of the vacations and how we use our points. I don’t need to see your vacations/trips all the time but I do want to see how you redeem your points and the optimal strategies for point redemptions. Something I would like to see more of is the actual transfer/redemption process for high value interesting redemptions that most people are overlooking. An example would be stuff like booking domestic via BA on AA or transferring points to LifeMiles for United domestic etc. Hope that feedback makes sense.
We’re all here to see you sit in a chair and talk about credit cards.
