This is harsh what they did to Delta employees if its not full they should be allowed .. The employees does a Great Job for Delta keeping them on top 👏 👍
♟I like the idea of the centurion lounges but I have very little interest in visiting NYC anymore, so hopefully they will be expanding to other major cities .
It’s absolutely ridiculous to ban employees from accessing the lounges especially when they promote the Amex cards and 10:02 pay Amex Annual fees. Having to pay for a ticket to use the lounge seems ridiculous. Delta is nothing without the employees that work so hard and many of the employees wouldn’t really fly as frequently if they had to pay for airfares.

♟️ One intriguing option for the Aeroplan card for me is the Star Alliance status. Otherwise, I won’t be applying. As a traveler, I would want staff on my airline to be as well rested as possible. Let them in!
Delta on the east coast is rough as to lounges. LOTS of people in Atlanta and NY. I was lucky to hit the lounge before a huge surge in Atlanta a month ago. Walked right in and left an hour later to a line of 20 people. JFK, I used the Centurion Lounge and passed the Delta one on way to flight with a huge line.
I would definitely be interested in a video about the centurion card and it’s requirements.
♟️
Yes, please do a video on getting/qualifying for the Centurion card.
As a Platnuim Card – Delta Companion pass holder. This is the worst change they could do. I understand thier reasoning however you are taking away one of the best ways for us "non revs" to be able to fly. I fly out of LGA and JFK and Delta needs to remember they closed one of the lounges during covid and never reopened it. Could this be the reason for the long JFK lines? I think so. Also, I fly a LOT and I have only seen a line at JFK twice in the last six months. O well they are going to do what they want. The thing you don't touch on because most people don't know is . All Delta Lounge employees now don't have access to the place they work when they fly. That is kinda messed up.
To comment on the lounge in midtown NYC as a New Yorker. It could be nice but NYC has so much to offer with so many upscale restaurants and lounges. May be beneficial for business meetings but as far as for leisure I’d pass with so many other options .

♟️ curious about the centurion club. Let us know what you find out in March!
Pay yourself back certainly made aeroplan points better than other airline points, but still not as good as transferrable points that can fetch you $.015+ value. Card multipliers are comparable to citi premier (3x on groceries and restaurants w/o foreign txn fee) and annual fee is the same ($95), but citi earns transferrable points (that can transfer to aeroplan points, among others).
Unless one really likes air canada and need their free bags, better to get something like citi premier, or if one really needs a back door way to cash out their transferrable points this year (without limit; after this year only 50K/yr and to me doesn’t move the needle).
Good stuff. I agree that Delta employees should be able to get in when the lounges are not crowded. Would be curious to hear your thoughts on Centurian. I do not have one, and I am hoping to get invited at some point. ♟ (The redhead is stunning)
Love the idea of a Centurion lounge in NYC. I do a small amount of traveling and have always enjoyed the lounges and living in the suburbs of NYC it's nice to have an additional place to go before a Broadway show, event or dinner
♟️
♟️ 😂
Yes I'm interested in criteria for the centurion card. ♦️
I absolutely hate that they banned employees from the lounge even if they have the card. I think there may be some better ways to handle this for overcrowding, like the space available concept you mentioned.
would be interested in seeing you visit the lounge and a video on the black card
Normally Delta is very proud of its employees and boasts of treating them better than other airlines. What happened to Employee care ? At least put them on a waitlist or time limit in the Lounges !
As an airline employee (not Delta) who also has the Platinum, it definitely sucks that Delta is removing Nonrevs from the lounge. That leave very few lounges who accepts nonrevs, buuuut I also see the fact that I’m not really paying for a ticket, so I get it. Just sucks personally for my very niche benefits 😂😂
I would like your help on AMEX rules on medieast
would love to see a video on how to get the centurion card
♟️
♟️I’d like to check in it the Centurion Lounge NYC but with so many other good restaurant & bar options on the area I wouldn’t be willing to pay much of a premium.
♟️ Would love a centurion requirement video. I'm on the west coast.
Make a video on how to get the centurion card😃
Definitely interested in a video about the Centurion card.
In my opinion, employees shouldn't be banned if they are going to clock in that day or in the middle of their shift, but they shouldn't be allowed when their shift is over that day. They should always be allowed if they are traveling for personal leisure. They shouldn't need the card to access the lounges either, so it should be complimentary for being employed.
Ha ha, that was a great film, I could have done that
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance- wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..
♟️ I think it’s a little harsh but i’m always flying out of slc and dca and have never had to deal with a line…
Yes, Centurion card eligibility rules please
♟️The Delta employee ban does seem like it may a rule that will be used when it’s busy. They definitely have figure something out at their peek times. I’ve been in small lines and they seem to have a great system at the larger ones.
♟1) No interest in the Aeroplan card or program.
2) No I would not visit the Centurion lounge in midtown Manhattan. I have no interest in going to NYC anymore. I'm fine with routing through JFK and LGA, that's it.
3) I think it is a little harsh, but necessary. Delta employees get awesome flight benefits, they can skip the lounge so that paying customers can enjoy it. I do think this is an over-reaction and Delta will find another way to cut down on crowding and then let employees back in.
Would love to learn more about the Centurion card Sebby! 🙂
Lounges are getting so packed these days… I’m with it, ban all the delta employees
♟️
Cheers for the shout out bro!😊 and in case you are wondering, yes the Taipei centurion house was only open to Taiwan, Singapore and HK centurion members (if I remember correctly)
