The Centurion temporary hrs, I don't mi d cause it's temporary until it gets completed. The Delta on the other hand, I'm annoyed at cause they used to be my go to Airline, now they suck. They just keep getting greedier and greedier. They used to give you an actual meal on 5gr flights now they just give you a drink and some stupid snack. Yeah, I'm not getting their Credit Card or flying Delta anytime soon!

Sebby… Any idea/reason why AmEx keeps pushing the Platinum Card upgrade and 100,000 point offer? I've received a mailing to upgrade from Gold to the Platinum Card 3x in the past 6 months. And my friend has received the offer 2x. We are both heavy users of our Gold cards and don't really see the value in the Platinum Card offer to upgrade, even though I've once had the Platinum Card from 2017-2020.

Sucks a little for landing delta passengers not to have access in the lounge. If you fly enough times it might not be a big miss and you do have access to other lounges. Still kind of devalues the card a bit.

Maybe this sky club change is to push card holders into getting the delta reserve card for lounge access that’s not restricted. Delta gets cut of fees with the co-brand cards.

Delta has been doing or trying to implement those rules for the better part of 1.5-2 years as I have been turned away multiple times in different airports. Additionally, Delta NEEDS to do crowd control, raise their rates, start charging for extra visitors. The lounges are getting as bad as Centurion. I fly every 1-2 weeks consistently through many different airports around the country. They lounges are getting to the point that they were more hassle than worth with long lines, Gen-Z's using it like a flop house. I have had to contact Centurion personnel 3-4 times now to get them thrown out of the phone room for trying to sleep in there.
These lounges were originally developed for business class and frequent travelers as a reward to stoke loyalty. They are now seen as a status symbol to get in, even if you have to pay. The lounge providers need to keep raising prices until they can find a reasonable middle ground on crowd control.
